SPI in May

Needed a place to stay long enough for my husband to finish a remodeling job off the bay. Did work and some play, this place was comfy , clean and amazed how close it is to Soace X. On a clear day you. a see some off the rockets parked at Star Base. This condo is close enough to everything you need yet far enough from all the noise and traffic.

Wonderful property!

This condo had everything we wanted to make our stay on South Padre enjoyable. It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Easy check in. Numerous items stocked, which eliminated me from buying a lot of extras.The owner was wonderful to deal with and responded immediately if we had any needs or questions.

Great summer weekend getaway!

We had a fantastic stay in David’s place! The place was clean, beach was walking distance, the Waterpark was er next door. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We will absolutely come back.

Wonderful place to stay

This property was amazing. The building itself is a little dated but the unit was great! It had everything we needed and then some. David was a wonderful host. After telling him of our travel delays he offered an additional day at no cost. We used codes to check in. The location is a little south of the action but I liked the quiet. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach but not too bad. If you have littles I would want a wagon. It was a wonderful vacation. Would definitely go back and use this property again!

Excellent Location

The location was perfect - close to KOA, Isla Blanca Park, Margaritaville and other shops and restaurants. Our goal was to see the Starship launch. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. Due to fog, we did not see the launch, but we heard and felt it all. We could see the launch tower from the balcony when the weather was good, so I know it’s a great spot to see the launch. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Many VRBOs have minimal supplies. This place was well stocked. We didn’t have to go buy extra paper supplies, laundry detergent, etc. He even had coffee for the week, both regular and decaf. Have not seen that before. Will book this one again if we can get back to SPI for another launch.

Great Condo! Excellent location!

We had a great time as a family staying at this location. David is a great host! Condo was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable! Great area to be in for all ages. Water park is right next door and the beach is near by. The swimming pool and hot tub was nice to use after a long day out with the kids.

Home away from home

Thoroughly impressed with this location, the condo itself, and the owner. Anything that could have been forgotten was available on arrival. Mr. David left plenty of information for us to navigate while on the island. First time renter, and definitely worth the experience.

Wonderful Family Get-Away

Our family has spent many summer vacations on South Padre Island. We all agreed that this was our favorite condo! First of all, the condo was super spacious and we had plenty of space for all of us (6 adults, toddler and a baby). We were impressed that there we so many small details that often go overlooked. The kitchen was well supplied, the owner even sent us a list of everything supplied in kitchen including spices! The location on the south end of the island was quite a bit quieter than the north end of the island. We also really enjoyed the pool. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay

Perfect property for your South Padre Island stay! David has a wonderful binder full of information on where to eat and what to do on the island if you are a first time visitor to the island. Condo is spacious, clean, bright and is decorated with art from island artists. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again!

Location, Location, Location!!!

This property was very well equipped from dishes to towels. The property is located within 8 mins walking to the beach. Prime location next to restaurants and activities. Property consists of 2 pools and hot tubs. Very nice view from the balcony. We rented golf carts so it was very easy to get up and down the island. Walmart and HEB within mins of the condo. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

Loved this place. The ONLY thing we had trouble with was getting through the pedestrian gate. The key we had didn’t open the only gate we located on the property so we walked around through the vehicle gate entrance the first day. The next days we drove to the isla park. It was probably better to drive. When we walked around the first day it was a 15 minute walk which was a bit too much exercise than we wanted. Other than that everything else was great. The blinds to the sliding door didn’t work but that wasn’t an issue since we didn’t need to dim the living room for any reason. Would definitely stay again!

Perfection!

The property was amazing. It was perfect for our group of 7. The manager was easy to get in contact with. While our clogged toilet was not resolved during our stay, we still had an accessible bathroom so it was not inconvenient. I loved the book of suggestions for places to eat. It is perfect for first time SPI visitors.
