The host was very responsive when ever I had a question or any issue she responded very quickly. The condo was very nice and clean, had a lovely view of the beach. Minus the construction work that seemed to start a week early which is not the hosts fault it was a lovely trip that my kids enjoyed. We will definitely book with her again if we go back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Unfortunately, I was unable to stay at this property due to a serious last-minute issue. Although I paid for the stay well in advance, I received an email—not a message through the booking platform—less than 24 hours before check-in warning about the possibility of tar in the water and on the beach. The message also stated that if any tar got onto the property or their items, I would be financially responsible for the cleanup or damage. This caused me significant concern; I had never heard of tar on a beach or in water!I googled and learned that tar is more common in warm, rainy conditions—and rain was in the forecast. I emailed and messaged the owner, but received no reply. Eventually, I got a phone call asking me to sign the agreement, but my concerns about tar were completely ignored. When I brought it up again, the owner said I received an automated message, claimed they hadn’t seen any tar yet, but still said I would be billed if there was any damage and refused a refund.My husband has a bad back, and we rely on our beach cart to transport our items. The risk of tar ruining our equipment—and potentially theirs—was too much. At 2:45 PM, just 15 minutes before check-in, I canceled. We had a 5-hour drive ahead and no resolution. VRBO said they’d follow up but never did, even after multiple calls. I strongly urge the owner to post a clear disclaimer about this issue before booking, so guests aren’t blindsided at the last minute. I feel taken advantage of; was anniv wkend

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we really enjoy it. The condo is spacious and cozy with a nice firm king size bed. The bathroom is roomy with a nice walk in shower. We didn't cook, so I can't speak to the use of the kitchen other than to say it provided plenty of space and the fridge was a good size to hold lots of beach drinks and snacks. The balcony is the best part. It overlooks the beach and is great for listening to the waves, people watching, and watching the fireworks from Clayton's restaurant. If I had to provide any feedback, I do wish the furniture on the balcony was more comfortable. I could have easily spent hours out there, but the two chairs built from PVC pipes were not comfortable for long. Other than that, I enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Fun on the Gulf

The condo was just as advertised. Great location right on the beach. Really well stocked. The beach umbrella was broken. i emailed the host and within an hour a new one was delivered!! Great service. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this condo.

Family Beach Vacay

This location is perfect for your family to stay. We have 4 kids ages 4-9 and it was exactly what we were looking for. Place was clean and just enough space. Sunrises on the balcony, easy beach access, a break from the sand in the pool, crab hunting at night and late night movies till we fall asleep and repeat. Check in and checkout were seamless. Instructions were easy and detailed. They even provided some beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards & umbrella in case you forget. You are just a few miles from great coffee shops, bakery and candy/trinket shops. Thanks for the great summer vacation!

Amazing location and view The condo was beautiful. The only negative was there was limited toilet paper and trash bags, some of the white towels had rust stains on them and we were told not to stain the towels or we’d be charged extra. Everything else was perfect. Would definitely do it again but bring extra toiletries

Excellent!

We stayed for 5 days. The location is excellent. The beach only had the people staying in our condo at it so there was no crowd. The pool and hot tub were clean. The unit itself was very clean and came with lots of very convenient extras like beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards. The view is amazing. The parking garage was so nice so our vehicle stayed cool. We will stay here again!

This condo sets perfectly overlooking the beach with everything you need to enjoy a vacation on SPI. The condo was clean and fresh. The only reason for me not rating this a five star was the fact that there were a couple of minor repairs that needed to be made. I notified the owners of the issues, and they are hopefully fixed by now. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone wanting a great beachfront stay on the island.

Good location and nicely furnished. The only issues were the toilet because the lid would not stay back when males use it properly and the need for blackout curtains for bedroom due to the extremely bright night lights from the adjacent units
