Perfect spot for a "right on the beach" get-away. Space was cozy & clean & had all the amenities we needed. We had zero concerns or negatives for the entire experience. We brought our two dogs and the LOVED it (our lab is barking at us today as he wants to go to the beach). We always bring extra sheets & blankets with us so that we never have to worry about the furniture. Also great to know the floor was tile, perfect for sweeping & not working about doggie nails. Sunrise was spectacular, watching the sun pop-up right from the balcony was a highlight for all of us.

Had a great experience!

The property was excactly as seen online, the place was incredibly clean. The check-in process was quick and easy with excellent instructions and communication with the owners was great. The place is right on the beach and the included beach gear was a great bonus.

Pictures made it seem like there was a nice view of the beach from the balcony. The view was of the garbage bin. If you leaned over the railing you could view the beach but if you touched the rail the peeling paint would stick to your body.The fire alarm went off twice. Once at 6:30am and the next day at 10pm. Both times requiring an evacuation of the building.

Sweet doesn't begin to describe how wonderful this place is! Extremely quiet, clean and very cozy with all the amenities. Definitely coming back to this spot! Beautiful pool and hot tub with literally steps to the crystal clear beach! Thank you ladies!

Studio Condo

This condo is updated and has everything you need to enjoy your stay on SPI. The host took care of anything we needed promptly, and made sure everything was stocked that we needed for an enjoyable stay. We had easy beach access and could walk to restaurants and stores. We stayed for 2 months and enjoyed it very much!

Could have been a great experience...

The unit was not clean, The AC was broken, and communication and concern about the broken AC with the host was poor. A solution was provided several hours later only after I had already booked a non-refundable stay at another hotel. It seemed that I was not taken seriously. The location to the beach was fantastic and instructions for check in was easy. I hope the host will increase communication to resolve issues as this would have greatly improved my experience.

The room was clean the host answered only one time when she didn’t know who I was , I arrived at midnight was sent to the wrong room without a view when I actually paid for an ocean front balcony, I called the host and explained that I wanted to be put in the room I paid for , she told me to call in the morning because it was late…. I said ok.. and I stayed in the wrong room for that night, well, done this morning when I called back because she said she would put me in the right room, She never answered again. I called her seven times in one day and she did not answer me… I left her 10 messages. She never got back to me. She was not going to put me in the right room. She saved my number and whenever I called, she did not answer me. I paid for this reservation lost all my money because in the morning I got up and I left after trying to call her 10 times I realize she’s not gonna put me in the right room so I left and I never got my money back, this hostnot reliable

Great stay. Room was great. Perfect for two people. Communication was just so so. When they did respond issues were responded just sometimes to get them to answer back. I would stay here again.

Misleading SPI ladies

The ad for this condo says beachfront. While the building is on the beach you are on the other side with a "view" of the beach if you go out on the 4x4 patio and stick your head out over the rail and look to the left. The language used by the host is threatening. We will fine you this and charge you for that. I was looking forward to a relaxing stay, but had to sleep on a rock hard bed. The cement bench was actually more comfortable. If you like staring at a building wall then this is the place for you. I will avoid SPI ladies for all future bookings in the future.

Advertising is lacking accuracy

The place was small, floors were dirty and the bed and couch were dilapidated. Tired and not happy. Watch out for the board. We were threatened with a fine when my handicapped husband parked in handicap parking. The Jeep was on the red line.

The perfect little getaway

The apartment was clean,well stocked and comfortable, the best part was it is right off the beach which my Husky loved. We will definitely be using this apartment as often as we can.

Exactly what we needed

Its a nice little spot, nothing fancy, nothing bad... exactly what we needed for a quick getaway. Don't expect to cook a big meal or lounge in luxury... Just a small space to grab some sleep between activities. Overall a great experience

Return trip after 20+ years

My daughter and I drove from Arkansas to see Port Isabel and South Padre Island for the first time in 20 years. Perfect accommodations for us. The studio condo had everything we needed. It was super clean and comfortable. Would love a return trip...but not waiting another 20 years!

Nice little condo

Wife and I really enjoyed the condo. Condo was small but perfect for the 2 of us. Very easy beach access. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice and well maintained. We had one minor issue when the toilet tank just stopped refilling. One call and the problem was repaired in a timely manner. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay
