We loved our stay at this cozy beach house. The backyard and pool were great, it was a short walk to the beach, and overall we had a great experience.
I had two main issues with this booking:
1. Communication with the property manager (Vacasa). We had reached out to them roughly a week before our stay with a couple of questions. One of them was about the “gas grill” that was listed in the description. They waited until 2 days before our booking to get back to us. This house, in fact, did NOT have a gas grill, which was misleading and made us change our dinner plans at the last moment.
2. This house was severely understocked from a supplies perspective. One roll of paper towels, one trash bag, and our biggest gripe: ONE EXTRA ROLL OF TOILET PAPER. In a house that boasts 10 people, I was severely disappointed in this. At this price point, you’d hope for a bit more that that on all fronts. And we ultimately had to make a grocery store run for what I would consider necessities.
So the house itself was great, awesome location, great amenities, close to the beach, awesome pool and all that. But I believe the property management company (Vacasa, a large conglomerate of rental properties) is cutting some corners there.
