Best time at the Island

The family and I had a great time this past weekend. Perfect view to the pools and the condo itself was clean and well maintained. Had no issues at all. Everything we needed was stocked up. Will be coming back for sure. Thanks Rod & Rosa

Great place

Very nice place to stay with plenty of room for our family of 6. The cow was great, pool was A+, and facilities were very nice.

Breathtaking views!

Great Winter Get-Away

My family had a great time at the Sapphire. The condo was clean and well-stocked. The view from the balcony was amazing. The kids had a great time playing pool in the rec room and swimming. Perfect winter getaway. Would stay here again.

Excellent Beach Location

Everything needed to have a wonderful vacation was provided. The umbrella rental on site was booked, but they directed us to the service next door, and they had plenty. The games room was a fun bonus - who knew how fun shuffle board and foosball would be with kids who had never played before!

Great vacation with satisfying accommodations

This is our first rental property stay for vacation, and it is so beyond our expectation that we properly won’t consider hotels anymore~~lol… The owner stocked everything we can think of in the apartment and more; the facilities are all well-maintained and better than they look like on the website. Even though the trip took us nearly 10 hours drive, we seriously consider to come again!

Amazing, would definitely stay again.

The Condo was great! There was plenty of room for everyone and it was very clean. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. The pools and beach were amazing. The theatre room and work out facility were a nice bonus. The view is beautiful. Renting the beach gear is the way to go, it was so convenient. We had a great vacation and Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals made everything so easy. We will definitely be back.

Sapphire condo stay

Both the facility, and the 3 bedroom condo that we stayed in, were great. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed and provided a beautiful ocean view. The only issue we encountered was the hot tub/jacuzzi at the pool only worked intermittently and getting a hold of maintenance to fix it was not always easy.

Nice location

The Sapphire is an amazing resort. I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Sapphire in various condos. This condo was pleasant. Nicely decorated however the walls are very stained and it does need a bit of TLC so that the condo looks as clean as it really is. All the beds were comfortable. My one complaint is that one of the bedrooms was extremely hot making it very difficult to sleep in. Great communication from the property manager. Overall we had a nice stay

Beautiful & relaxing

Such a great spot amazing views beautiful condo. Great amenities and everything you need for your stay. I loved that there was a keurig and a larger drip pot. There were plenty of supplies for the beach though it was a little to cold for ocean swimming. It was nice that we had access to the heated pool next door. Check in and check out were quick and easy, staff was very kind and helpful. We loved that there was plenty of soft blankets and a fan we love sleeping with a fan. If we make it back to South Padre again theres no doubt we would stay here again. The owners were great communicated with us every step of the way and even checked in with us during our stay.

Beautiful View!

We have our annual family trip to S Padre every summer. We decided to try somewhere different this year & it was a good move. The place was exactly how described. Clean, beautiful view & had everything we needed. Easy access to the beach. The pool was perfect. We enjoyed the game room and movie theater. My sons took advantage of the gym every morning. We were tempted to stay another night because we hated to leave. The hosts were easy to get a hold of with quick responses to any questions we had. Needless to say, we’ll be staying here from now on!!! 5 out of 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice condo, great view

The condo is large and well appointed. Appropriate room to spread out-- sleeps up to 8 with a King room, a queen room, and a 2-queen room. Room four couples (2 that don't mind room sharing) or a family of 5 without doubling up the kids in beds. Kitchen, washer dryer, and comfortable living space. TV in each bedroom and in the common area. Good wifi signal in the condo. Not that you'll likely spend much time indoors in SPI, but it was nice to know we had a safe and cozy place to land each night. Resort is great-- pool and beach access were perfect for our trip. Location is just right. On the main drag but away from the late-night noise. Only 3 other condos on the floor; didn't see/hear anyone throughout the stay except folks from other floors in the elevator. View faces the beach with 4 chairs on the balcony to enjoy sunrise (East facing) and you can see the resort's pool and Margaritaville's pool and outdoor bar next door. Only the owner's suite (king room with ensuite 5 piece bathroom) and the common area have windows/view. The common area is sliding glass door to balcony. Nice condo, great view; would recommend to anyone going to SPI for vacation.

Check-in was a Nightmare

After receiving multiple texts and emails. days in advance, from my host regarding a simple check-in at the front desk, there was no record of our reservation. We called the hosts number, & we were told that there was nothing they could do and we would need to call VRBO. Are you kidding me? After 12 phone calls over an hour from both the front desk & myself, another gentleman came to The Sapphire & finally allowed us to check-in. I don’t think the property owners & the front desk see eye-to-eye…neither wants to help out the guests staying at the property. We found out that 3 other families had the same issue during our stay

Accessible, Accommodating and Amazing

I was a bit nervous as I travel with my disabled husband. When I say disabled, I mean he is a hoyer lift quadriplegic that cannot communicate verbally. My sister also has limited mobility with arm crutches and wheelchair for long walks. We were taking a risk coming to the island itself as we travel in a custom shuttle bus with a trailer to hold all of his medical equipment, but being on the 11th floor scared me the most…BUT… When I say we’ll be back, WE WILL BE BACK!!! From the moment we pulled in, the staff here was so accommodating!! The ease of getting everything unloaded and up to the room was effortless (although it took a few trips)…we didn’t even need to use our portable medical cot for him as the bed was high enough off the floor to use the hoyer, so he was able to sleep in a real bed for the first time since his stroke!…we brought plenty of pillows to prop him up!! The view is spectacular, and we we had amazing weather (100 degrees) the entire time!! We came in September (10year wedding anniversary) which is off-peak season, but perfect for us as we practically had the entire island to ourselves :-) Landsharks restaurant, attached to Margaritaville right next door was easy to get to and had wonderful food! We did a lot of touristy things (even got my husband on a sunset dolphin cruise) during the week, but if you’re looking to just relax and not go anywhere, all of the amenities are already here! Even a spa for massage! We absolutely loved it here, and will definitely be coming back again!

Family Trip

The 3 BR unit was very nice and just the right size for our family of 8. We had an amazing time at the pools and the beach and it was an enjoyable time.

Definitely coming back!!

My family of 6 just spent 5 nights here and we all wished we could stay longer! The condo was everything we needed: big kitchen, plenty of places to sit, huge rooms and bathrooms, washer and dryer, and the best patio with the best view of the ocean! We are already talking about booking this same room again next summer!

Summertime at the Sapphire

My family and I have stayed at the Sapphire a few times now and all of them have been very nice. This particular unit was no exception, the layout was spacious, well appointed and had all the kitchen supplies we needed for cooking in. The pool area is always nice, it's well maintained and very large so you rarely feel crowded. The beach access is also convenient and makes coming and going easy. Overall this condo and the Sapphire were a hit.

Amazing View

Amazing view of the ocean and property. Beautiful master suite also with view of the ocean. Access to the property next door was a plus. Pool, hot tub, and cabanas are nice. Hot tub and fountains in need of some work. Only two negatives, one of the bar stools was broken and the number of total guests you can have over your entire stay is limited.

Well organized and prepared!

Our family enjoyed the condo so much! I loved the view of the sea and the pool. Also, they give each unit another balcony on bay view which allowed us to watch the fireworks from another side of balcony!! Nothing to complain and we enjoyed the rooms, the pool and the beach!!
