I have stayed at the Sun Tide 2 several times. This condo was probably one of the nicer ones that I’ve stayed in in this complex.This condo was very nicely decorated. Their accommodations we’re good. Location is great. Parking was a little complicated because they were redoing a parking lot next to the condominiums.

Great Stay

Took my teenage children here for spring break. The place was clean and spacious, pool wasn’t crowded and beach was just a few steps away. Great location with restaurants, shops and ice cream in walking distance. We really enjoyed!

Renting was very easy. The site was user friendly. I have been staying at Suntide ii since 2005. The only real improvement that I noticed is check in and check out process. Our stay was pleasant, because South Padre is a great vacation spot however, the owner of unit 509 would not be pleased at how their unit was represented. Dishes and cooking utensils were put away dirty. There was food particles in the flatware tray. There was garbage in the bathroom including large used bandages on the floor . Two of the bed sheets were dirty, tend the floor needed mopping. After we washed the sheets and all the cook ware and flatware, swept and mopped the floor the rest of our stay was great. I paid nearly $500 in service fees. I only wish I got paid for my services. I would also recommend bringing back the onsite office personnel, because if you have a problem no one responds . One of my neighbors didn’t have working TVs their entire stay and they called every day.I love staying at Suntide and will do so again, however I will have to expect to do all the things we pay a service fee for. Believe me when I say I still had a great time and this is not a gripe session. I have down played a lot and made this as honest and informative as possible so you can make necessary adjustments for your future guest.

Lovely Stay in a great location

Had a great time. Condo was clean, well stocked. Weather was terrible so would have been nice to have more streaming options on the tv. We spent a lot of time inside. Hot tub and heated pool were awesome.

Annual SPI Thanksgiving(ish) Trip

Process, management responsiveness, property and beach were excellent! Balcony furniture was in bad shape, but they brought some temporary replacements the next morning. Master king bed was nice, but the queen in #2 was not so good. Would stay here again, but a little freshening and updates would be a plus…

Everything was wonderful. Just as expected. The only negative comment would be that the patio furniture really needs a makeover. It was in bad shape. Everything else was fabulous. Would recommend.

This is a great condo corner unit well worth the price we paid. There were 7 of us all had beds and was very comfortable. We were very pleased with the unit. Well supplied with utensils and dishes. No issues at all. Will stay again.

Great condo

This was a great condo. We enjoyed the festive decor of the room. We have stayed at the sunrise II may times and this room was the best, very stocked with amenities. The only suggestion would be to add a tank less hot water heater, hot water ran out quick in shower time.

Memorial Day stay

This condo was a hidden gem. We were a little skeptical when we pulled into the 5 floor high rise building but when we got to our door and opened it up, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior of the condo was everything advertised and very well kept and comfortable. The island itself was so overrun with stir-crazy vacationers across the holiday that it was cumbersome to get in and out of places. Thankfully the condo was so nice inside that it encouraged us to stay in and cook and wait out the peak crowd times. Beach access was as easy as an elevator ride down to the 1st floor then out the back door. I could see my kids playing in the sand from the condo's balcony. There is a good wash-off station to use as you reenter the building which was great for sand management. The building's hottub and pool is right in that area as well. We would seek that condo again.

Beautiful, Spacious Condo

The condo itself was great, we all loved it, the themed decorations & accessories for our use were wonderful! We did not know it was a filter less coffee machine, so any future residents may appreciate knowing filters aren’t required. We also found plenty of beach toys so we didn’t need the ones we brought for our kids. The overall property was pretty unkempt and the local management office wasn’t available during regular business hours. I say this because there was actually a water outage on the entire island while we were there and we were never notified- we found out many hours later after leaving the island briefly that there was a boil water notice, that lack of communication was disappointing. 😔 But back to the actual condo itself, it was amazing! I just wish the rest of the property Was as well cared for!
