Cute little get-away

Stayed here with some friends and family. Some of the guests were loud and you can definitely hear everything but other than that it was the perfect get away!

Great place

Close to the beach, the pool was great, the store is 3 blocks away, places to eat are close by and some other little shops. Slept us all comfortably and we all had a wonderful time. Other renters were friendly and easy to interact with

Cute and quiet

A perfectly soft, quiet, sunny space. I was visiting family for two days and this was the perfect place to get away from the bustle and noise of the Island. The walk to the beach was wonderfully quiet and there were no major problems with the space! Will be booking again.

6 weeks - lovedclose to beach - walking in outskirts- privacy as was gated. Last two days of Texas spring break too crazy!

A day at the beach

All the eminities where great. Even had washer and dryer. Was within 3 min walking distance of the beach.

Family vacay

This was our first time to the island and we enjoyed our time. My only complaint is the original listing said there was a futon and there wasn’t.

Overall Good Experience

Everything was good overall. Home was spacious and good size for our family. The pool seems larger than what it is on the pictures (pics appear stretched). One of TVs in master bedroom not working. 2nd day some loud tenants checked in across us. Apparently the area isn't monitored for loud guests as described in guest rules comments. As they had loud music with their condo door propped wide open for all guests to hear their music.

Fun trip

Getting in and out of property was sometimes a challenge due to locking mechanism. Could use some updates.

Broken iron No pull out sofa in living room just a love seat. 1 queen bed was squeaky and every finger you move you can hear the squeaking. No private patio. WiFi was horrible.

It was not bad but could have been better

The place was fairly clean. The couch could have had the cushions swept under. The pull out couch was tattered and stained. It could be fixed or updated. There was no bedding for the pull out couch when we got there however, the host did bring them for us so that was nice. This may seem petty but I was aggravated that there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for a 6 night stay and when I inquired about it, I was told that that was all they gave. I don't feel that if I am renting a place, I should have to bring my own TP and Tissues. I understand you don't want to leave too much however, there should be enough for the amount of people and the number of days stayed. The house is in a good location and close to the beach.

Dissatisfied

The room and furnishings were fine. Kitchen and tall ceilings were nice. We had an issue with 3 out of 4 lamps not working when we checked in, so the first night we could only have complete darkness or very bright overhead lighting. This was resolved by maintenance the second evening. The main issue was the pool was drained and under construction. Not only were we unable to use the pool, but there was loud jack hammering outside at 7am on Saturday. There were pumps and hoses run directly in front of our unit for plastering on Sunday. We had to walk through these hoses and extension cords and across tarps to get out of our unit and to our vehicle. On the last night, the workers left the house on to fill the pool and never came back. You can thank us for turning off the water at 3am before the pool overflowed. These issues were raised and ignored while we were there. Very dissatisfied.

Nice place

We were happy with the place. We're a family of 4 and it accomodated us nicely. It's centrally located on the island so walking is doable and a block from the beach. We are not a high maintenance family but if you're particular the place could use some TLC Landlord was immediately responsive. We would rent this again. Couple updates necessary a little updating will go a long way to make this place better. We had very quiet neighbors so we didn't hear anything.

Comfortable space in a great location!

The location can’t be beat! One block to the beach, near restaurants and all the tacky beach shops you could want, within walking distance to the grocery store. The condo was perfect for us and comfortable. The condo was very clean (except for one sofa has some stains) and in good shape. We just used the pool once briefly but it is well-maintained. Would definitely stay here again!
