    Enjoy this spacious and elegant Beach view Home, offering super easy beach access and amazing views of the Gulf. 3500sq ft of living space, with 4 bedrooms - each with ensuite Private Bath (3 are Master Bedrooms), Pool Table and an Elevator for those with mobility needs. Our home will easily accommodate every person in your group in spacious comfort. Our rates are set for 10 Guests Standard - up to 12 guests can stay with host approval.

    Oceanview is purpose built to serve large families and vising Business professionals (SpaceX). At about 1.5x the size of a typical island beach house – each person in your group is guaranteed to have ample space to move around, relax and enjoy all the fine facets that Oceanview Castle has to offer.

    Enjoy coastal breezes and listen to the ocean from the privacy of several balconies.
    You’ll note the fine touches throughout the home - including custom cabinetry, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, private elevator, travertine flooring, and a water softener that serves the entire property.

    The grand front porch stairway of Oceanview Castle spills out to speedy beach access just across the street. Alternately, the elevator can be taken to ground level.

    Immediate Beach Access - 60 seconds from the front steps to the beach! Oceanview Castle is just a quick hop across the street from the beach. Bring the entire family - set up your gear for a whole day on the beach. Need to make a pit stop back home for a bit of shaded rest, or a bathroom break? No problem, you’ll be there and back in a flash and wont even have to break down your beach setup!

    A Private Bath for every Bedroom: Worthy of note - each and every bedroom has it's own full bath - a highly unique feature among large home rentals here on the Island. Oceanview may well be the only large family rental with a dedicated bath for each bedroom. Every family can enjoy their own private suite

    AWESOME DETAILS:

    Game Room with Billiard Table: A game of Pool…..or perhaps there is a Big Game on this evening. The Castle provides a room to enjoy both! Mini fridge and dry bar on site.

    Bathrooms abound! – every single bedroom has its very own Full Bath. 3 of the 4 bedroom baths are appointed with Granite or Marble showers, floors and countertops! Luxurious private space! Plus, another Half Bath can be found next to the Game Room, as well as one Outside.

    Parking- and plenty of it: A 2 car garage, Plus Driveway parking for 4-5 cars.

    LAYOUT:

    Main Floor (2nd floor)- Huge open and bright living area with 9ft ceilings, Large family area with TV and comfortable leather sectional seats up to 8. Travel down the expansive hallway to the Recreation Room with Entertainment Center, Cable TV & Pool Table with Dry Bar.
    >>Bedroom: This floor has 1 Bedroom, with 1 queen and 1 double bed, + private ensuite bath, right off the Game Room – perfect for a family or the young adults of your group.

    Upper Floor (3rd Floor) - Climb the wide open, sweeping travertine staircase (or take the Elevator) to the third floor for access to the 3 Master Bedrooms:
    >>MasterSuite 1 - King: Boasts its own private balcony with a splendid view of the Gulf – wake up, open the door and hear the Ocean sing to you. Large Closet with additional fold-out twin option if needed. Large ensuite batch with Jacuzzi tub.
    >>Master 2 -King: 1 King bed with ensuite bath.
    >>Master 3- Queen: 1 queen bed with ensuite bath, plus a mini-bunk (twin) room (for younger children up to age 7yrs).

    Kitchen: Fully stocked gourmet kitchen on Main floor. Granite countertops. Microwave, two ovens, all stainless appliances, awesome dishwasher. Keurig and standard coffee maker, plus teapot.

    Dining: Epic wooden dinner Table capable of seating 12 = plus lengthy bar with 4 premium bar stools. The 10ft long ‘Kings Court Table’ serves Castle guests in style. Your whole group will dine in elegance and spaciousness.

    Front Covered Patios – Two floors with covered patio offer Beach and Ocean viewing, sounds of crashing gulf waves, and some fine Gulf Blvd people watching. Also, enjoy the weekend fireworks right on the front porch!

    OTHER COOL STUFF
    • ELEVATOR: **Elevator is available upon request** Please be 100% sure to make your specific request for access to the Elevator at time of booking.
    • Softened Water: Whole house Water softener does amazing things for showers.
    • High Speed internet capable of supporting vast amounts of dataflow for your whole gang.
    • Perfectly balanced HVAC system with ceiling fans in nearly every room make for a very comfortable indoor climate.
    • Outdoor bathroom and shower to make quick bathroom trips from the beach a snap!
    • Fireworks: every Friday and Friday and Saturday night at 9:15pm – viewable right off of the covered front patio and master balcony!
    * Outside BBQ Grill - located in garage on lower level, just roll it outside the garage.

    NOTICES:
    ***INSTANT BOOKING RULE: Primary Guest must upload a 'fully signed' copy of Rental Agreement with Driver's license copy, within 48hrs of booking or host reserves right to cancel booking. Number of Guests and Pets must be accurately disclosed at time of booking, and match in rental agreement.
    **MINIMUM AGE TO RENT: Primary renter must be at least 29 years old, must be on-site for the entirety of stay. Booking individual must be actual owner of the email account used in their VRBO profile. Allowing a group to use your VRBO profile to book, or using another persons VRBO account to book is strictly prohibited.

    ADDITIONAL GUESTS: 10 Guests Standard. Up to 12 guests MAX with prior host approval. Additional fee of $65+tax/night for each person over the standard 10 will be calculated at time of booking. # of Guests claimed at time of booking MUST be accurate.

    WET FLOORING: Our marble and travertine floors can be extremely slippery when wet. It is highly recommended that, in order to keep all occupants safe, guests dry off completely outside prior to entering, especially with regard to the main floor and main staircase. Caution signs will be posted. Children should be closely supervised in this regard.

    ***REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY: No other guests shall be at this house outside of the registered number on the rental agreement, with exception of permission permission from owner.
    ****NO HOUSE PARTIES / NO EVENTS

    (*)NO CHARCOAL GRILLS, GRILLING Allowed anywhere on Property. Guests must use supplied propane grill.

    **ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE HOUSE: The inside is monitored via remote electronic sensors. Violation of this rule results in IMMEDIATE EVICTION by South Padre Island POLICE. Smoking is only allowed outside, on the porch.

    **MAX # CHILDREN RULE - 8** Note the Maximum number of children (17 or under) is 8. Check the House Rule language for more specifics before booking. If you have any questions please send us a message.

    (*)NO CHARCOAL GRILLS, GRILLING Allowed anywhere on Property. Guests must use supplied propane grill.

    **PETS: 1 dog (no other type of pets allowed), up to 50lb (possible exceptions upon owner approval),
    *Guest is fully responsible for clean up after pet & vacuuming/sweeping all pet hair prior to departure.
    *No Pets are allowed on furniture or on Beds.
    *No puppies under 9months old allowed.
    *If special circumstances, owner 'may' opt to request a security deposit for pets.

    **RESPECTFUL & EQUITABLE COMMUNICATION: Host opens their home to share with Guests. As such, open and considerate communication with host, as may be necessary, is absolutely crucial during stay.

    3rd Floor Master Bedrooms - Elevator accessible (3):
    • King 1 Master Suite - Top Floor Huge bedroom with Ocean view balcony. King sized bed. Beautiful private ensuite bath with Marble floors, Granite counters and Jacuzzi Tub. Vast marble walk-in shower. Extra Large walk-in closet.
    • King 2 Master - Top Floor Large bedroom with King size bed and private ensuite bathroom.
    • Queen 1 Master - Good for Family with small children. Top Floor Large bedroom with Queen bed, private ensuite bathroom and a Large Walk-in closet with Mini-Bunk (2 twin mattresses) for younger children.

    2nd Floor Bedroom:
    • Rec Room Bedroom - Main Floor bedroom with 1 Double bed, 1 small Queen bed, and ensuite private bath.

    **1 additional Twin mattresses with foldout frame, plus 1 Air Mattress are readily available if needed. These tuck nicely out of the way into two of the large Master Suite closets on top floor, or set them up wherever you like to suit your groups needs.

Beautiful Home and location

Great property and great island location. Also great Host. Thank you very much. The family enjoyed how this house was across the street from the beach. The house had ample room for our family trip.

Perfect fit!

It was a beautiful home and well maintained! It was great for our entire family to have their own space and then gather together without being on top of one another. Super close to the beach and anything else you might need/want. The owners were responsive when we had questions and so pleasant to speak with. Definitely thinking of making this an annual visit!

Wonderful Stay

We have been to SPI many times, this was by far the best experience we have ever had. The property was awesome! Location was close enough to the beach to walk and just far enough away to not have a crowd at your door. It was walking distance to just about anything you could possibly need of want. The property owner checked in on us and made sure our stay was event free. We are planning next years trip already. We just cannot thank Scott enough for all the kindness. I would highly recommend this property!
