Great House and a Great Location

For us, this house checked all the boxes. We had age ranges from 1-74. It was a few minutes walk to the beach and the golf cart was convenient for us to haul everything we needed. We also didn’t have to bring any beach supplies with us except umbrellas, so that was really nice. You are within walking distance to a lot of places. Communication from the property manager was excellent!

Family vacation

Our 2025 South Padre Island vacation was absolutely wonderful! We had a group of 13 and this vacation home fit us all perfectly. The house is clean, spacious, and a great place if you just want to relax! Not to mention the amazing backyard, it’s perfect for the family. The listing is as advertised. The location is great for walking to the beach, nearby stores or restaurants and if you don’t want to walk there are plenty of bikes and a golf cart to get you around! We highly recommend staying at Melissa’s place for your SPI experience!

Great place

The house and landscaping was beautiful, beds were comfy, gorgeous kitchen, it has two sets of washer and dryers which was a plus with a big crowd and a pool, which means there’s a lot beach towel, bath towel usage. Parking enough for 4 vehicles in driveway and couple spaces more on street front. If I could change one thing , the master on main floor would had a king size bed. ,

Fabulous Stay

We stayed with a group of 21 family members from age 3 to 94. The house was perfect for a large group and had every amenity you could need. The pool and hot tub were great. The beach was close. The excursions were close. The host was very responsive. Overall it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect house for a large group

We had 20 and had plenty of room, this house has so much, take note of all the things in the garage. Umbrellas, boogie boards, cart, bicycles, extra fridge, ect.. my kids brought t Xbox but there was a gaming console, we did 2 huge puzzles and played in the pool every night. We brought a pool volleyball/net. Location was great for walking or riding the bikes everywhere. We definitely made memories at this place. The kitchen had almost everything, I needed a bigger trash can, Cooking for 20 is messy. ( there are 3 in the kitchen) Nobody sat around bored, if they weren’t at the beach or the pool, shopping and food were super close. My kids were too big for the slide, but I think they all tried it once. Super cool for younger kids. Golf cart was great for running to the store and shops and just exploring. Communication with the Host was 10/10, Probably the best Beach house experience of all the places we’ve visited.

Me and a big group of family members stayed here and overall the house was great!! Good location, lots of space and the amenities were great!! Comfy beds and two sets of washer snd dryer was also a plus!! Although, the dishes were all dirty even when put away and assumed clean. Also should've been stalked with paper towels.

As Advertised

This place has it all plus more. Pack your clothes and everything else you could need is at the house. Huge plus when traveling by air. Kids loved the bunk room and indoor slide, as well as the pool area. Adults loved all the entertainment for the kids as well as added plus of the golf cart rental. Easy access to the beach and all other locations on the island.

Gorgeous House

Twelve of us enjoyed a fabulous weekend at this beautiful house! The house was full of wonderful surprises for young and old; the hidden wardrobe was right out of the book! Loved it. Everyone had a good time. Lots of space to spread out and spend time together. The pool, slide, and hot tub were a bonus, as was the access to the beach. Lots of things to do on the island for everyone. So glad to have gathered the family for our 45th wedding anniversary celebration. Many memories were made together…

Wonderful Family Reunion

The house and its location are perfect for a large family reunion or a reunion with friends. The beach is right across the street and was great. I have nothing but good things to say about this property. They have just about anything you might need for the beach in the garage as well as bikes, and a golf cart.

Great Memories

The walk was short to the beach, we were thankful there was a wagon to put all of our items in to haul to the beach. The backyard was very private and we enjoyed all of the lounging, sliding, visiting, cooking out, hot tub. Plenty of everything listed on the site. (for some reason VRBO had listed 10 bathrooms & 6 parking spots… that was NOT the home owners fault…so just a heads up on that…there are 5 bathrooms. And we were able to maneuver and get 5 cars in the driveway…but as you can see on the pictures, there is public parallel parking out front of the home… we were able to quickly get a couple of empty spots there…that made it easy to get the other vehicles in the driveway and get the golf cart in and out easily.) Thank you Melissa!!!

Amazing house across the street from the beach!

We had 4 families stay here with 9 kids ages up to 7 and the house was perfect for us. We loved that every family had their own "master" room with ensuite bathroom, and the kids spent countless hours playing in the bunk bed room. The slide from the bunk bed room to the "secret" room was brilliant! The pool was perfect after a long day at the beach, and the kids loved the water slide. The doors to the pool area lock at the top which gave us all peace of mind that none of the little ones would sneak out when no one was looking. The walk to the beach took 5 minutes - the same as when we stayed in condos on the beach but had to take an elevator down with all our stuff. They have a ton of beach supplies in their garage and it was so much more convenient to put it on their golf cart and take off each morning. We will definitely be booking this place again in the future if it's available! We only wish it was closer to home! :)

Beyond amazing!!

Clearly the listing and pictures are amazing but this property in real life was beyond the expectations of the pictures. The homeowners were top notch in responding before the trip and for any questions we had while there. The name of the house was Palm Paradise and was our own paradise for 5 days. The house had everything we needed and more. I could probably go on and on for pages of what was amazing about Palm Paradise but my best comment would be is I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I travel to South Padre again, way too spoiled now!

Wonderful stay!

Property is just as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. Everyone had plenty of room and was comfortable. The “extras” made trips around the island, to the beach, shopping, etc., easy and convenient. This is a great property for large groups!

Long awaited family get together

The property was perfect for our family get together. We were 2 grandparents with our adult children and 4 grandchildren. Everyone had plenty of space and the pool was wonderful to have in the afternoon after naps. The property is as described, with easy access to the beach. Plenty of bathroom space, a large kitchen and plenty of seating at the dining table. As other reviewers have noted, the Narnia closet was a hit with the kids! All in all a wonderful stay!
