"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Very lovely place, just how you would picture a countryside cottage to be! Great location. It’s private, tucked away near the entrance of Bourton-on-the-water, away from the crowds that’s visiting the village during the day. We enjoyed the short walk into the center of the village without worry about fighting for parking. It’s a perfect spot to base in the Cotswolds, and convenient to drive around to visit other villages. Highly recommended!"

"This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. "We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo. Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good. Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our original room so they kindly upgraded us to a suite for our final night, which we weren't able to stay in as we had to leave due to a family emergency, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future! "

"We stayed for one night and loved it! The apartment is new, spotless, and in an excellent location. We really appreciated the free parking, as well as the thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and all the kitchen utensils we needed. The beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. Our only suggestion would be to have a few extra pillows, but overall it was a wonderful stay and we’d happily come back!"

"Todo en general bien, salvo que, aunque el personal de recepción no fueron groseros, si les falta ser mas “amigables” con los turistas extranjeros. Esto no significa que no hayan sido amables pero si les falta este tipo de detalles que te hacen sentir bienvenido. Lo que es excelente es la cena en el restaurante del hotel, simplemente exquisita.
