Perfect birthday weekend!

Willow’s Hideaway was a fantastic choice for our family! It’s hard to find a NICE rental for 5-6 adults and our dog. This was perfect. The house was comfortable and clean and had room to gather for games and conversation! The beds were comfortable and everyone had room. It’s also close to Sierra at Tahoe ski resort which was convenient for our trip. We also enjoyed going into South Lake for some dinner and drinks. The fenced yard was so nice for our dog although he had to get used to the deep snow! We had one small plumbing incident and the management company responded quickly! We hope to return to this same location in the near future!!

Mixed Bag

Absolutely charming house. Kitchen and baths upgraded and wonderful. Wood accent walls are awesome. Beds are very comfortable.Downsides: 1 not a fan the tandem driveway parking...especially in the snow, 2 stove has no visible exhaust fan, it may have a vent built in but we could not figure out how to operate it, 3 the wood stove had no grate which is essential for a wood burning fire and the instructions say to open the damper (duh) but this stove has two dampers one above and one below the firebox and no instructions as to which setting is open or closed, 4 the ominous warnings about damaging the kitchen table prompted us to not use it at all, 5 the living room is lighted by overhead spot lights which caused me to shield my eyes when watching tv, 6 After charging $50 per dog per night, we were warned that security cameras were watching us to make sure we picked up any dog poop (difficult at best in a foot of powder snow) 7 an electronic control device (never seen anything like it) have no instructions for use. More instructions in the house packet or VRBO letter would have been nice. VRBO, when asked on day 2, provided quick response with a very clear picture of the proper fireplace operation (why is this not in the information packet?) and delivered a suitable fireplace grate and a new toaster.

This is a great place to stay!

This was an amazing experience! The property was clean and absolutely beautiful. The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets for cold nights. The backyard was fully fenced, which was nice for our dogs. All of the expectations for guests were clearly stated and reasonable. My family would definitely stay here again.

Birthday weekend

We had a great stay in Tahoe! My kids loved the arcade and easy access to play in the ❄️ snow in the front and back yards! The house was great! Plenty of room for all of our kids! This is a great place for large families! The pool table and ping pong was a hit with my teenagers. The heated bathroom floors were amazing ☺️ thank you

Fun Family Weekend

We had a great time with our adult children. The home was clean and perfect for us. We enjoyed the video arcade machine and the pool table. I am sure we will stay again since we love Lake Tahoe.

Good location! Clean place!

Inside of house is as shown on the website. Keeping in mind that wide lens photos make rooms a lot bigger; the place is still big enough to feel comfortable with enough space to move around. The house was very clean when we visited; and very cozy.

We truly enjoyed the stay. Pool/ping pong table was a major hit. Kitchen was loaded for all we needed. Closeness to shopping, ski resorts made it a great stay. We will come back. Note to owner: Previous visitor left a bunch of filled poop bags by the MBR entrance, hopefully the cleaning crew will take care of that as the cleaning fees are high. But still a five star place, the description is bang on. Thank you!

Comfy Stay

My family and I had a great stay. The heated bathroom floors were amazing. Open dining and living room felt spacious and cozy. The beds were very comfortable and having access to a gated backyard was perfect for the pups to stretch their legs. I loved the modern yet cozy feeling this place brought and would definitely stay again!

The property was just as the listing description! Very clean, it was warm and welcoming when we entered, plenty of space for everyone! Good location, 5-10 min from groceries and main roads. Peaceful getaway, good option for families.

Nice property in good location

Nicely located. Bur property is darker and small than pictured. Only 2 outside parking spaces -- listing is confusing on this. Clean, great kitchen, nice bedrooms and remodeled clean bathrooms, but not very large house. Improved, brighter lighting would make a huge difference.

Great experience!

Love the remodel. Great use of space, especially the dining room table/ pool table/ ping pong table combo. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Front porch with chairs were relaxing after hiking each morning. I would recommend to anyone for a week long vacation. Thank you, Paul (from the Sunshine state...FL)
