This would have been a five-star stay if not for a handful of maintenance and quality issues.The space itself was excellent. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the game room, and the house is attractive, spacious, and well laid out. Overall, it’s a great property with a lot going for it.There were a few letdowns that felt out of step with the listing. The dining room chairs shown in the photos were not present; instead, the table was furnished with smaller, inexpensive metal chairs.In the kitchen, the bottom rack of the dishwasher was damaged and missing wheels, causing it to fall off the track. The primary (upper) oven did not work, and the lower oven took an unusually long time to preheat. None of the kitchen knives were sharp enough to use safely.The primary shower has multiple shower heads and could have been a standout feature, but only the rain shower was operational, and it had very low water pressure, making rinsing difficult.We experienced two snowfalls during our stay. While neighboring driveways were cleared promptly, this driveway was plowed only once, two days after the first snowfall, and snow and ice were left behind. Our vehicle did not fit in the garage, and the icy, slightly sloped driveway made parking and walking more challenging than necessary.With better maintenance, accurate listing photos, and improved winter upkeep, this would easily be a five-star rental.
