We had a good stay, but listing description is not accurate and pictures make it look more luxurious than the reality -- which is probably why it is less expensive than other 7 bedroom homes in Tahoe. The heater in the main living area does not work. Management directed us to use personal heaters. Also, the oven did not work. Management said it will not be fixed and directed us to use a small countertop oven. Our party of 12 had to cook our dinners in multiple small batches, which took much longer than if we had the appropriate size oven. Outside of that, our stay was good. The living room has a large lounge area for everyone to sit and watch a movie. There was a slight sewage smell in the staircase, but not too noticeable. The bedrooms were comfortable. Property management was quick to respond. But looking back at other reviews, it seems previous renters have had similar issues as us. It's possible the issues are just passed down to the next renter as new ones.

The only oven working. If you have a large party and need to cook dinner, you need to cook in multiple batches.

Layout was fine. However there were several issues including broken dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, peel and stick blinds fell, loose faucet handles, mold on ceiling, games broken. Overall it was fine but not worth what we paid.

We had a great time in Tahoe. They were accommodating enough to supply the needs for our group including beach towels, tables and chairs and a cooler. Great property for a group trip! We never were able to have a working dishwasher and grill though. The house was very empty of other supplies for cleaning or kitchen.

Wonderful Lake Tahoe stay

Wonderful house for a family reunion. Well stocked kitchen for meals at home including a grill, blender, and large kitchen table. There was lots of room to spread out with 11 people across 3 generations. We enjoyed being close to everything in South Lake Tahoe and enjoyed the game room, back deck, and hot tub in the evenings.

Perfect for Large Groups

What a house! It’s great for large groups. We have family and friends come together for a special birthday. The primary suite is massive! All the rooms were nice and overall well appointed. This is a multi-level house with lots of stairs. Everyone loved the game room and hot tub. Only item for improvement: washer and dryer were not clean are needed some TLC. Front load washers are notoriously grimey if you don’t leave the door open. The dryer was not drying clothes properly due to excessive lint build up. We notified the management company. Overall highly recommend.

Long weekend

We had a group of 16 and plenty of space. The kitchen could be a more well supplied, like with a crock pot and better knives but overall no major complaints and we'd probably stay again.

Great House, Lots of Rooms!

We really enjoyed this house. There were plenty of single and double rooms, great for friends, couples and kids! The kitchen is big and gorgeous, with lots of supplies. You will need to supply all your condiments, seasons, etc. The upstairs got pretty warm, but they have plenty of fans that you can move arounds the house. We felt very safe in this location. The hot tub was nice, the laundry worked well, all appliances were really nice. The TVs in all the rooms were nice.

Great property manager response

The 1st morning there we found 2 coffee makers that did not function and most of the outlets in the kitchen didn't work. I called the manager and later that day they brought a new coffee maker. That night we discovered the oven didn't work. The next morning I called and they sent an appliance repair the next day. The oven was fixed but not the broiler. Property is a little run down but comfortable. Wish they has shovels to clear the walkways, I fell trying to grill on an ice covered deck due to the oven not working. Overall we were mostly satisfied. Could have been better.

Great for large family vacations!

Lots of sleeping quarters, clean upon arrival, pretty well stocked kitchen and good family spaces to be together. Could use a better dryer, a more cooking utensils and the shower on the top floor leaked at the door. Excellent communication!

Some minor issues - overall great stay!

Our group of 15 enjoyed our stay at the Glen Eagles property. The home was clean and appeared as listed. There were some minor issues (i.e., dull knives, inconsistent hot water, shower leaking, dryer not working well), but the property manager was quick to respond and helped us find a fair resolution. Would stay again!

Great home!

We had a great time staying at this property. It’s driving distance to town, grocery store, casino’s and more! The only factors that could use some improvement is the kitchen pans maybe adding newer pans and kitchen stuff. The only negative about the home was hearing way too much noise from the bedrooms. You can hear every creak and footstep which was a bit annoying when you wanted to sleep.

Not Pleasant

The hot tub was very dirty, had fungal growth. Have photos time stamped on check in. The carpets were dirty as well. Smoke detectors missing. The bathroom doors wont close. When I complained, got a delayed phone call. The gentle man on the phone was rude, borderline threatening. Blamed me for the disrepair and hung up on me.

Excellent experience all around

Great place to stay with a large group. The property and the neighborhood were fantastic. The property was clean and exactly as advertised. I would definitely consider returning to this property in the future.

Huge house/nice for Family get together

Large house, great for multi family with kids getaway. There were a few issues, but the property manager was quick to resolve them. If there is a hot summer spell, the house gets warm in the afternoon. Nice rec room.
