The listing for this property was falsified and the local property management refuses to provide us with compensation for the property's deficiencies. Among the reasons we chose it for our stay was its dog friendliness, large fenced-in backyard and garage.
When we arrived, we quickly discovered that the property did not have a garage, but only had a 2-car driveway. Just an outright lie in the listing. This did not provide us the flexibility we were relying on for our vehicles and handling of our 4 month-old puppy.
When we let our dog out in the backyard, we discovered that the chain-link fence on the left side of the property had multiple sections that were broken and falling over. This later allowed a random dog from the neighboring property to wander through our property, potentially endangering our dog. The property manager sent out maintenance to address the issue while we were away, but they put a single bungie cord on a different part of the fence that didn't need it. We were able to manufacture a stop-gap solution as the property manager failed to address it.
The full bed in the 3rd bedroom had multiple broken slats on the underside of the frame and was unusable.
The WiFi credentials provided in the check-in instructions did not work.
The backyard patio furniture and fire pit shown in the pictures of the listing were locked up in a shed in the backyard of the property and were not available for use during the entirety of our stay.
The water heater was not consistently working upon arrival and needed attention from maintenance.
General cleanliness of the house was poor, including the state of the couches and floor underneath them.
Overall, we were incredibly disappointed with our stay. The property is dilapidated and management is largely unresponsive and unwilling to provide adequate care for paying customers.
