Great location

Great location and great property! Clean and much needed extra blankets due to the summer storm!! The only thing was the property in general was the fire pits. I wish there was a time limit but outside of that, great!

Lovely location

Lovely location to see the Lake and access to it. The unit itself was wonderful. No complaints. It was unfortunate that after booking the larger complex closed the hot tub and pools due to resurfacing so we did not get to enjoy the extra amenities. We would have loved the hot tub and pool after a cold plunge in the lake. However, the actual unit was very good and I would stay there again! Loved location as walking to food and Whole Foods.

Beautiful, comfortable, and excellent location

We rented the house for a three day getaway in beautiful Tahoe with our kids and grandkids . The house was spotless, very comfortable and in a great location with easy access to the lake and heavenly ski resort. Would rent it again

Ski week stay

Great location! 10 minutes from heavenly mountain and skiing was awesome. Plenty of food options in walking distance. Right next to lake with a view.Home had all amenities for cooking meals for 3 adults and 6 teenagers. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent location and charming unit. Steps from the lake and a park for the kids. The unit itself is a bit outdated. The WiFi didn’t work well but we didn’t mind as it forced the kids and adults to truly enjoy each others company.

A little bit of Heaven!!!

My 2 sons there wives granddaughter my sister and myself celebrated my wife of 56 years passing to her new life. The weather was unbelievable. Lake was FLAT for the most part. Aurora Borealis was beautiful as seen from the Lake in front of your house. I cann't find away to seed you a picture but it was beautiful. We have 4 different time shares at South Lake so we know how blessed the weather was for us. Thank you for a well kept place on the lake. Doug PS wall plugs are hard to keep plugged in. Three of our timeshares are at the Beachcomber around the corner.

Wonderful place to have a family vacation!! Booked this for a 5 day stay for my family of 11. The accommodations were perfect for our needs! Location was beautiful! Very clean and communication with the rental management company was great!

Family Get Away

Planned a family pre-thanksgiving weekend. Home was perfect in size and set up. Property managers were very responsive to every issue. We had a roof leak and they were very accessible and understanding. communication during the stay was awesome. Unfortunately the beds were so hard my husband and I had no sleep for 4 nights and our bodies were destroyed. The HVAC system was so loud, ear plugs did not help the dampen the disruption (another factor in our lack of sleep) So over all, the unit is an amazing destination- especially for summer months - the property management is great. Just bring a mattress topper;-)

Nice but could be better

The property itself was beautiful, but for the amount I paid, I would expect that the numerous small things I encountered to have been fixed. First of the refrigerator did not work so I had to bring ice from outside to keep it cold. The freezer also smelled like someone had kept fish inside at some point. Additionally, they were two leaks from the roof that caused us to have to put pans down to catch the water dripping. A nice property, but overall I was a little disappointed in it’s condition.

Good location and nice neighborhood

The house is roomy for families get together. Master bedroom downstairs is very loud when heater is on. One bedroom on second floor has a hard mattress and not very comfortable to sleep in. Linens had hair in most beds. We had to wash bedding before getting into beds. No dryer sheets available and bedding were very static. A cluster of hairs was on the wall of one bathroom. We love the location and the area but not the cleanliness of the house.

Great location, but overpriced

Summary: Great location, very close to the beach. Dirty and poorly maintained. Overpriced for what you get. Long version: we stayed in this unit for a week in August. The location is great and it's actually closer to the water than we expected. It's a good size, with lots of beds for family and kids. The downside is that the property is dated and not very well maintained. There was heavy dust coating the fans, and grubby dirt marks on the walls, etc. The beds are old and uncomfortable, with springy mattresses. (I'll never understand why so many rental units can't just invest in some decent mattresses. It makes such a huge difference in your stay). There is no AC or ceiling fans, and there are large skylights with no shades in the ceiling. This means that the condo heats up quickly during the day, and then takes hours to cool down at night. We were there for a week, and the trash bin filled up quickly. The handbook for the unit said that the trash would be collected once a week. After the 6th day I emailed the management and they said that there is actually no collection and they asked us to drive the trash to the dumpster ourselves. There were also strict instructions that all trash cans had to be emptied by us on our last day before checking out at 10am. Taking out our own trash isn't a huge deal, but when I'm paying thousands of dollars per week to stay somewhere, I expect basic things like trash to be taken care of. We enjoyed our stay overall, but really what you're paying for is the proximity to the water. If this place was cleaned up a bit and modernized, it would be fantastic, but as is, it's overpriced.
