Review

The house was fine, it’s nice, but it had many issues. The stove didn’t work; the knobs were loose and didn’t function properly, and there was a gas leak. None of this was mentioned in the house description. When we brought it up, they explained that they didn’t have the original knobs, and it was difficult to get replacements.The photos make the house look much bigger than it actually is. The jacuzzi area didn’t have any lighting, so when we came back from skiing, we couldn’t use it. The heating was another problem—we couldn’t control it and had to sleep with the windows open. One day, we ran out of hot water due to problems with the boiler. On the positive side, communication with the hosts was good; they came to check on the hot water issue.

Large property with great entertainment for all ages

The property is big and clean with all the entertainment you need for family vacation. Short drive to grocery stores and heavenly village. Our family enjoyed the arcade, air hockey, pool table, jacuzzi, big TVs and the ACs. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with enough cook wares. The highlight of our trip was a surprise visit by a bear family (mama and 2 cubs). There were some minor issues but got taken care of by management immediately. Hot water for shower is lacking when you have dish washer and laundry running at the same time and a water leak from a bathroom on 2nd floor. But overall, we enjoyed the property and would recommend it to everyone.

Quiet retreat in South Lake Tahoe

We stayed in the property with my family for a few days and it was a great house for a family of 8 people. Big kitchen and living room to bring everyone together after a day on the lake. Neighborhood is a bit remote which can be an inconvenience for some or a positive for others. Everything in the house worked well but it was obvious that it is a primarily a rented property rather than someone house. Kitchen stuff was limited, and stove is very old and need special care to operate. We enjoyed being in this house and we would come there again!

Nice, but not the best

Our stay was from Fri-Sunday. We were really excited to stay at this property but were unfortunately quite disappointed. To start, the price was very high, but we were happy to pay the high cost for the luxury of staying in such a nice place & in a great location. I’m sad to say it was not worth the price. Upon arriving, the code for the front door didn’t work so we could only enter and exit through the garage, not a big deal. The house is beautiful & the rooms were nice. Unfortunately we had LOTS unwelcome guests in the form of huge spiders and giant ants. We understand we are staying in the woods sort of so some bugs are to be expected but we encountered multiple huge spiders and one of my friends found 2 in her bed. The ant problem was really bad. We texted the number that was given to us and they said they’d have some ant spray delivered, it was not. None of us could sleep well knowing there were so many spiders and in the beds at that. We also booked the rental because it had a hot tub. On the first day we went to get in, but when we lifted the top, it smelled of sulfur and was really green, it did not look safe to get into. So, I texted the number and they said they’d have the pool man out the next day to service it, which was nice, but we paid for this amenity and weren’t able to use it for one of the days. That was a huge bummer. As far as cleanliness goes, on the surface it seemed clean, but there were tons of webs and dust. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Beautiful home!

The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean! Our group of 9 were all comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. My only recommendation would be to add a few large serving platters and serving bowls to the kitchen. Also, a few extra towels would have been helpful. I brought extra towels from home and ended up using them because the master suite only had the minimum. Otherwise, the home was well-appointed and we loved our stay!

Spring Break

Had a great time with family! Great location near Heavenly and very well appointed home. Plenty of room for everyone. The front hall mud room was very nice for ski gear. Thank you for a nice stay!

Perfect ski retreat

Our group of seven thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house. The kitchen is very well stocked. The bed arrangements are great. But the best part is all the in-home entertainment with TVs throughout the house, pool, air hockey, foosball tables, a killer video game. and awesome hot tub.

Family get away

Our stay was beautiful and relaxing. Everything was as pictured. We enjoyed the whole stay . The decor was exceptional, and everyone complimented the house! We will come again!
