House itself was great. It was roomy, with comfy beds and a fun family area upstairs with a cool video game console. Location was great. Kitchen was pretty well equipped. Communication with property management was easy; no problem there.
The only criticism I have is the house was poorly cleaned. Reading previous reviews, I see I am not the only renter that feels this way. I would encourage the management company to hire a new cleaning crew.
When we got to the house, the cleaners were still there...strangely, they seemed to be busy focusing on hosing the outside areas. Once we got inside (about 10 minutes after our check in time)... it wasn’t clean.
The kitchen counters still had old food debris, and there were cobwebs and dust on the stair banisters. I don’t think the floors were mopped, because after like an hour of walking around the house in my white socks, they were black on the bottom. Another issue: while there was still cleaning solution in the toilet bowls (so toilets weren’t skipped, exactly)...the toilet seats were clearly not wiped down (there were urine and “other” splatters on the seats).
I didn’t bother contacting the management company because honestly, I didn’t want them to send this cleaning crew back again. I had brought my own Clorox wipes, so decided to just wipe EVERYTHING down myself. It wasn’t that big a deal... but we definitely didn’t come into a clean home. Which is kinda yucky, especially during these Covid times.
We would definitely recommend/stay again, would just hope for a more thorough cleaning crew.
