Great Home - Uncomfortable Beds

The location was absolutely perfect, being so close to Heavenly, Nevada, and downtown South Lake Tahoe. It made our trip incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The house itself had plenty of space for our family of 7, along with some friends of our kids who joined us. We particularly loved the pool table and hot tub, which kept everyone entertained and happy. It felt like the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, I must mention that the beds were quite uncomfortable. On the first night, none of us got a good night's sleep because the beds were so hard. My husband and I even had to buy additional pillows to make it somewhat better, but it still felt like sleeping on the floor. This was the only reason why I couldn't give the home a full 5-star rating.

Heavenly getaway

We had a great time at this cabin. It was perfect for all ages and location was great! Only complaint would be that the floors were dirty upon arrival and had to vacuum due to having little ones crawling around on the floor. Otherwise highly would recommend!

Hits the Mark

As nice as the pictures. No surprises, exceptionally well stocked with dishes, glasses, and cookware. The thermostat controlled fireplace was a big plus. The spa was plenty hot and held the heat perfectly. Would recommend and would stay again.

Family Vacation

We were able to get the whole family together for an amazing vacation in this beautiful home. It was conveniently stocked with everything we needed (more than expected) and everyone was very comfortable. Annual family Tahoe trip

Our entire family was able to join us in Tahoe. This house was awesome. It provided space for the kids to play while also allowing the adults the top floor to enjoy. The area was great! The neighbors were nice. and the house was close to anything you wanted to do. The staff at R&R was very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely return!

Family gathering

Nicely appointed house that met our need for 4+ bedrooms. Only real drawback that we had was the road noise in the late evening/(really) early morning which was surprising given that the road at the front of the property seemed to be for residential only traffic. None the less, it was pretty loud with open windows when trying to sleep.

Thanksgiving family celebration

This house is truly a 5 star property. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our children and grandchildren. It was in an ideal location and was very well fitted for our families needs. The property management company R&R were outstanding to work with , from beginning to end. We Highly recommend this property .

Wrong neighborhood

The house is very nice, if you could just pick it up and put it in a different neighborhood it would be perfect. Unfortunately the first day on a hike we saw stickers everywhere to protect Tahoe they don’t want vacation rentals in their neighborhoods. We had the police called the first night at 10:15 (we went from the back inside at 9:45 earlier than suggested/instructed) because we were sitting inside the house talking with the windows open, literally no loud music just us enjoying each other’s company. There’s no air-conditioning (sorry that small window unit that requires the window to be open does not suffice) and it was 80+ degrees in the house. The sheriff said we weren’t being that loud, all they heard was talking, laughing, but the neighbors around here are very picky. A first night ritual from one of the neighbors is the impression we had after they very politely left. Why? Why would you invite families and friends to come up here and have a good time when your neighbors don’t want us there….very disappointing. You advertise 12 can stay so again with no air conditioning, how do you expect that many people to not be heard in an environment that noise travels so far so easily. Add that you have to leave the one window open to have the insufficient space cooler requiring the window open to operate to run at all. This place is only good if you want to read a book every night or close the windows and sweat to death! Not to mention I stepped on a non secured block that was on top of the ledge next to the corn hole game they had set up for us in the backyard, slipped and fell bouncing off the hot tub and broke my toe. With as many sue happy people that live in this world (like in that neighborhood) you might want to fix that wall! Those top blocks are required to be glued down. Once I put the block back that fell with/on me you could see there was a very small portion of glue underneath. It obviously didn’t work as I went along and every single one of the top blocks is loose and waiting for someone else to get hurt.

Friend Venture

We wanted to stay near South Lake for the casinos and also near the 50 because we had a water rafting trip planned in Auburn. Over all it was a great experience and location and the home was very comfortable and clean.

So close to perfect!

Overall the house was beautiful and clean. It had the perfect bedroom set up for my family. We were very upset though that it listed a hot tub and there was a hot tub at the property, but we couldn't use it. The property manager never communicated to us there was a problem with the city that made the hot tub unusable. When we booked the house for our family ski trip the hot tub was a priority, so we were very upset too discover after we had arrived that the property really does not have a working hot tub! It was so close to perfect, but so disappointing.
