Great stay and our family of 5 was incredibly comfortable with this stay. Full on kitchen allowed us to be flexible on meals and the resort itself is very convenient most everything in So Lake Tahoe. Would return.

Ideal all around

Ski-in, ski-out, and just footsteps to convenient ski valet and gondola. Great 3-room setup (bedrooms on either side of kitchen and living room) for different wake-up times and young kids. You're right in the village with easy walks to all kinds of restaurants, from Starbucks (convenient for early am eats before skiing) to Kelani's (incredible sushi and Hawaiian). Highly recommend. We'd book it again for sure!

Perfect for skiing

The place was in the perfect location for skiing. We really appreciated the Tupperware in the kitchen for veggies, etc. Overall the place was great.

At the Marriott Timber Lodge vacation club they’ve got it all: location, friendly and efficient service, and comfortable rooms filled with personal touches. We were here for a week, and we’d gladly come again.

Took my 2 teenage kids to ski for the New Year. Room was fine and it was clean. Super close to Heavenly gondola.Only complaint is that the hotel building was too HOT

The Timber Lodge is the Best Locatioj

The 2 bedroom villa was very convenient, right next to the gondola. It was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. I hope to stay here again next year!

Unbeatable Location, Terrific Customer Service

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 10 and 8 year old) and the 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our needs — located immediately adjacent to the gondola, inclusive of valet parking, in-unit laundry, kitchen with pots, pans, servingware and Tupperware for us to bake muffins and cook a prime rib on Christmas with all the sides, ski valet right when you hop off the gondola, the list goes on and on. We checked in on the 24th at 11:30 am and it was a total breeze - no crowds, no delays, just stress-free and easy. The unit and common areas were clean although some parts show dating (showers clean but would benefit from updating, scuffed corners/chipped wood in units) but this is only if you are looking for issues. The beds were firm which we loved. We used the text service to request any items as well as our car when we needed it, all of which were taken care of by the hotel expeditiously. They were at capacity during our stay but it never felt overly crowded except around 10-12 pm and 3-5 pm on Sat/Sun when check-in and check-out was at its peak. It felt quiet in our unit and we never heard hallway noise. I saw several workers touching up and refurbishing the common areas while we were there. Some guests were ill mannered and left their bagged garbage and wet pool towels in the hallways but the majority of guests were respectful of the common areas and placed their refuse/towels as marked. Even when guests did not, the hotel staff made sure to clean frequently. Recommend!
