Great home for large family/group!

Home is beautiful with lots of bathrooms and plenty of beds and bedrooms! Game room indoor pool and indoor theatre!! Great furniture and amenities! Something to do for everyone and seating for all at dinner time!!

Insanely Excellent Perfection!!!

Wow! I was blown away by the ease of check in & the cleanliness of the property!! Everything was ready to go including the pool!! We made use of everything this mansion had to offer & a few times forgot what floor we were sleeping on because the place is so huge!!! That’s a great thing!! Every single thing you need was there including shower stuff, pool towels, extra ping pong balls, etc. every person had the best time & our ages were from 2 years old up to 74 years old &e very thing in between!! The pool, movie theatre, games, TVs, sitting areas, dining areas were spacious & very well maintained. This is hands down the best place to stay & the best host I’ve ever had!! The only downside is we didn’t want to EVER leave😂 we will be back!!!!! Thank you so much for our stay!! This was our annual Tahoe family Christmas & it was flawless! We also appreciate the many thermostats due to the different temperatures our family requires;) TOP NOTCH & THANK YOU!!!!

Spectacular in many ways

We rented the house for a 3-day sales meeting with 16 people coming from all over the US and Canada. Our days were spent making presentations and bonding time cooking, sharing meals and relaxing in the evenings. Mark the manager was very responsive and we were grateful that he let us check in 2 hours before as the cleaning crew finished early. The spectacular house gave us plenty of space in a beautiful environment. It was well equipped for our presentations on the big screen tv's with enough sitting room for all of us to be comfortable. Everything was working as expected, the only things that were a bit below our expectations were: - wine glasses were not enough and a hodgepodge of various styles - some of the mattresses were reported to be sagging The location was also amazing, within 5 minutes of the lake, restaurants and groceries. I highly recommend this amazing house and would definitely stay there again.

Nice stay in South Lake

We booked this venue for a work retreat, the first time all of our staff was able to come together since pre-COVID. The house was amazing, the location convenient, and we had a great stay. There were a few issues we encountered, primarily that the wifi is inconsistent and weak - this was frustrating especially since I confirmed with the host ahead of the trip that the wifi issues had been resolved after reading some other reviews (they weren't, or can't be). We were able to work around by using phone hot spots, but it was not ideal. If we had planned on having other folks or speakers attend over Zoom we would have been in trouble. There are a few maintenance issues with the house, namely missing smoke alarms, a broken door knob, and a running toilet. The house had plenty of activities that we enjoyed when not working, and it is close to most South Lake activities (short drive or 15 min-ish walk). Would definitely stay there again if the wifi issue could be resolved.

Accommodation was good

We were a group ranging from newborn to 80 years old. We all enjoyed our stay with the exception of those who decided not to take time off work but still wanted to be part of the fun. With that being said, wifi was horrible. I mean what is there to expect being in the mountains? We celebrated our mother’s 70th bday and had a caterer for her. It was more than enough space for everyone. Since wifi and T-Mobile weren’t reliable we were not able to make phone calls (Verizon users had better service but still a miss at times), watch tv or stream any kind of service. Those that decided to remote work had no other choice but go to Starbucks to work or give in and take the hit and take time off. I enjoyed my time here, it was a way for me to disconnect from electronics and enjoy Lake Tahoe. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, everything was accommodated for. There is nothing I would change. If you do decide to use some of the amenities such as the movie room, bring a DVD (since a DVD player is already provided), or an HDMI adapter for your device to hook up to and have your movies already downloaded before coming here. In addition, if you want to play music, have your playlist downloaded as well, that way you can connect your phone or device to the tv or surround system. If you don’t want to rely on other people in your party to drive you, you can always walk up to the Main Street and pull up Athen UBER app and reserve an electric scooter, which I did and it was awesome. I enjoyed my experience riding around Lake Tahoe by myself. We did run into an issue with the power company stopping by to tell us they were going to cut off our power. I thought it was a prank but as soon as I called property management, they reassured us it was a mistake and that it was supposed to happen when we checkout. But those are my tips. The rooms, the pool, the bathrooms, the chef’s kitchen, EVERYTHING was beautiful and spacious. I wouldn’t change anything and I would definitely come back again.

Amazing residence

The place is gorgeous and the photos are helpful and accurate. Only bummer is what a tight ship the owner or manager runs. We couldn't check in even slightly early nor stay even just 15 minutes past check-out time. It was crazy the cleaning crew and all their services were there 15 minutes early before our checkout time even. Felt very rushed and not very accommodating but I also get it for such a huge property takes awhile to clean.

House is beautiful. Neighborhood is a little odd.

The owner is receptive although there were a few appliances that did not work throughout our stay. The house is large and very beautiful. Some mattresses need to be changed as they were very hilly. The space is wonderful for a large party.

Excellent for larger groups

This place had everything we could think of and more. Kitchen easily allowed us to cook multiple meals for 30 people. Rooms were clean and most had en suite bathrooms. Game room kept us entertained for hours, and the location of the house was very close to Heavenly. This was absolutely perfect for our Squadron admin weekend. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Had everything except a bed!

Nice property and location. Every person had space and entertainment. The only shortfall was the beds. They were the worst I have slept on in a long time. Your feet were higher than your head zero support. I had to get a single from kids room to sleep in the master on the floor. If you consider sleep as a amenity your going to be disappointed. For this price the owners can certainly provide better mattresses for there customers.

Unbelievable Home in a Great Place

We stayed in August of 2020 in South Lake Tahoe and loved the house. We had a group of 20 of us and decided to split the cost. It worked out great. Driving to the home was simple and the house was absolutely perfect. Everything was in working order and we will stay here again. Thank you for a great trip

Fabulous and Perfect!!!

This house was perfect! We were 32 ladies celebrating a 40th reunion and having us all under the same roof was priceless! Added bonus ... plenty of bathrooms and lots of space to congregate. Loved the spacious kitchen and the theatre was the perfect setting for our video down memory lane. Outside of a hike, we spent the weekend at the house as there were so many lovely places to hang out and things to do while reminiscing and catching up. Definitely recommend!
