Nice Little Cabin

Wolf Creek Ski GetAway
We were very pleased with the cabin for our ski vacation. It was perfect for the 3 of us and two more beds if others had been able to join. The loft ladder; however, is only for a young, agile body! The accommodations were very nice, plenty of towels, hot water, good WiFi and the beds were comfortable. Bonus was the person who came and snowplowed the driveway after the big snowfall. My only suggestion would be to invest in some sort of keyless entry system instead of having to keep up with keys and a lockbox. I would recommend this property to others and will happily stay here again on future trips.

Beautiful place to stay
We had an amazing time at this property during our trip to South Fork. Our kids slept in the loft and loved it. The weather was absolutely perfect the whole time we were there. I was thankful for the washer and dryer that was in the cabin because we came home without laundry to do! The location was great. Our kids enjoyed being outside in front of the house. We would recommend this cabin for future vacations!

Cozy cabin in town
We had a great time at this cabin! They had everything we needed. Location is very close to everything. I was surprised how close it was to the highway (right next to it), but the highway noise was minimal and didn’t bother us. The cabin was much smaller than I thought based on the pictures. As long as you like the people you’re staying with, it shouldn’t be a problem! The one disappointment I had was that the sheets had quite a bit of dog hair on them. It’s a pet-friendly place, but I think this should still be addressed. Overall we had a great stay!

South Fork CO Cabin
This is a very nice small cabin. The kitchen is stocked with very nice new pots and pans. It even has a crock pot. We did a lot of charcoal grilling outside. Even though the cabin is in town there is not near by neighbors. There is a walking path by the cabin but with the wooden fence on two side you still have your privacy. We really enjoyed it.

Awesome Cabin
This was a great little cabin! Overall had an amazing time. The cabin was very cute and very clean! I would recommend anyone to stay there. If I had one complaint it would be that the cabin is located too close to a main highway. Lots of traffic noise but for the most part we were very happy with our stay!

Cozy South Fork, CO Cabin: Perfection
This cabin has thought of it all! The pictures are spot on and don't even do it justice. Our family of three and our dog stayed over Thanksgiving and loved everything! Easy to find/access, great parking, perfect firepit and outdoor space, beautiful interior, fireplace, games, plenty of places to put things, comfortable beds, wonderful lodge décor, and a kitchen ready to cook. We took day trips to Pagosa Springs and the Sand Dunes. 2020 has been awful, this place was a cozy, safe and magical escape, straight out of a hallmark movie. We hope to return! Thank you for your wonderful communication and creating this beautiful space.

Cozy cottage
Great location, although a bit close to the main highway: outside of town. Cabin is quite cozy but worked for my family (husband, toddler and two dogs). Great communication with host.

great cabin
we enjoyed our stay in the cabin, saw deer at night behind the cabin. Location is right off the highway, but the property has privacy fence between the sitting area and the highway, and noise wasnt an issue for us. Handy location to head to Creede, which is where we spent several days exploring on our UTV. The property has great parking, especially if you have a trailer, and easy to get in and out. Walking trail is right in front of cabin, and one night we walked down to the river. Grocery store near by, but we took most of our own food, just had to buy a couple of things. Had one slight hiccup during our stay, but the property manager handled it and was great in communication. I would stay here again!

Great Cabin!
The cabin was great! Very clean , thank you! It’s a small cabin, but it was amazing there were so many places to store our belongings, and the amenities were well thought out. We really enjoyed the porch and yard. Even though the cabin is close to the road, and there is road noise, the privacy fence and very well manicured and decorated yard more than made up for that. We did not use the fire pit but looked inviting. The road noise goes away at night and we were not bothered by it. Diana was a fabulous property manager!

Family friendly vacation
South Fort was a beautiful place to get away. This cabin was perfect for my family of four and our fur baby. Cabins location was convenient for access to local restaurants and near by excursions. Would highly recommend!!!

Cabin was clean and cozy, I think they should supply more than a 3/4 of a used toilet paper roll but was ok, but I feel like on the information it should say it is right off the highway. We enjoyed our stay

Beautiful Lodge Decor
This little cabin had beautiful high-end lodge decor, excellent WiFi reception, great water pressure in the shower--everything that we needed was here except for our food! The owner was quick to respond to questions, and our deposit was returned quickly. The location was at the intersection of two highways, which made it quick to get to local restaurants and the grocery store. But, being just 25 feet from the highway also made the traffic very noisy. It might not be a problem when the weather is cool, but we needed to keep all of the brand new windows open. The cabin photo shows the beautiful courtyard and fire ring, but not the trailer park about a half mile behind the cabin which mars the view of the mountains. We did feel very safe and the high fence gave us privacy from the walking path next to the road.

Great cabin!
This was our second time to stay at this cozy cabin in South Fork and once again we were beyond pleased. The cabin is very homey and is stocked with everything you need. Diana, the property manager provides excellent communication. We will stay here again and highly recommend it!!

South Fork Summer
This cabin was just as advertised! Very cozy, yet enough room for my family of 5 to have their own space. Clean! Diana was super easy to contact, and she even checked in on us throughout our stay to see if we had any questions or concerns. The WiFi was very fast and my kids were happy to be able to stream videos, etc. Will definitely keep this property in mind for the future, and/or other properties that Diana manages. Thanks for making our stay memorable. 😊

Great little cabin
Very clean and well kept cabin. My wife and I used this for a base camp for a week long trip to the area. It is close to lots of attractions and provides a nice place to say. The only real negative to this place is that is located close to a main road, but for us that was not a problem. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Wonderful cabin
If your looking for a great home away from home you have found it. Great location and very comfortable. Great cabin
We really enjoyed our brief visit in South Fork. The cabin was perfect for us. In terms of a rental, it is a very convenient location. I know that some would prefer a location with more of a view and not on a highway; but it was great for us. The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for two couples or a small family. It’s not huge, but is well organized and arranged. It was very enjoyable to be able to sit on the front porch and enjoy a cup of coffee and catch a glimpse of the mountains.

Great cabin with all the extras!
The cabin was great! The host was even better. The cabin was beautifully decorated and well kept up! They put a lot of effort into making sure you have a great stay! Every time we were like, "I wish we had _____" We would look in the cabinet and find it! Lots of little touches that made your stay great! It was like they stayed in the cabin themselves and realized anything someone might want and did their best to provide it. If I could change anything I would pick up the cabin and move it to a less traffic area. We knew it was in the town but not quite how close to the road it was. Our daughter is 11 so we don't have to worry about her in the street but younger kids that might be an issue. I also would assume the ladder might be an issue for younger kids. It's steep and I can just imagine a three year old constantly trying to go up it!! The cabin is smaller than you would think a three bedroom would be but it was more than big enough for three of us. I think it might get small with 6 people for a long stay. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. Our only issue was the beds squeaked when you move so it might be an issue for a light sleeper. I move a lot so my husband chose to sleep in his own bed which was nice because he didn't wake me if he left early for fishing.

Yes, we feel it is too small for six adults, which is why the maximum is 4 adults and 2 children and the listing does warn travelers to the potential danger of the steps for small children, or the elderly. A Cozy Cabin Centrally Situated for Mountain Fun
We based our summertime mountain activities over 10 days from this cabin in South Fork, and highly recommend it. Located along a South Fork highway, we loved the convenience but did hear light traffic at times. Cabin was clean, well-decorated, and stocked with essentials. Washer/Dryer and dishwasher were very handy, and we enjoyed the full-sized tub/shower. Fireplace and ceiling fan made it comfortable, but it did get a bit warm at times. We loved the two equally-sized bedrooms and loft. With no closets, we used cabin's wall hooks for very light items and brought along two over-the-door hanging hooks for clothes. The loft was great, but know that we could not stand-up straight and the "ship's stairs" ladder was slightly inconvenient at times (night bathroom run). Diana serves as an excellent property manager and we will certainly book this property again.

I'm sorry you were disappointed in the size of cabin and number of bathrooms, however, BOTH the square footage and the bedroom and bath count are clearly stated in the listing. I have NEVER had anything lower than a four star review, on any of the homes I manage, and I find this very unfair. The listing also shows the location of the cabin. I hope future guests, as I presume past guests have done, will read the listing in it's entirety before making a decision. If you want more space and/or additional bathrooms, you need to pay for a larger cabin. This cabin is priced for what it offers and is impeccably decorated and very clean. Diana Property Manager

We found everything we needed in this cozy cabin!
The cabin is fresh and new with everything from a crock pot to hair dryer and bath essentials. The power was out in the entire town for a full day and Diana was awesome to check on us and see if there was anything we needed. The snow removal truck was there by 8 am to clear the drive after a heavy snow. Couldn’t ask for more in a rental!

Very clean and organized. Had everything we needed and then some. Convenient location. Diana communicates very well, and I’m sure is responsive to any needs or questions. We enjoyed the quiet town of South Fork, and the easy drive to Wolf Creek. Highly recommend.

While this adorable cabin does sit close to highway 149, we do pin it on the map on vrbo/homeaway. Owners put up a privacy fence to help with the noise. thank you, diana property manager

Adorable little cabin
The cabin was a bit smaller than we realized (our fault for not seeing the square footage) but worked out fine for our taller than average family of four. The cabin was clean and stocked with many essentials from bath towels to cookware. We were able to enjoy Christmas away from home here. Our only suggestion would be to have some oscillating fans for use. We would definitely consider another stay.

Cozy Cabin
The cabin was cozy, clean and looked to be updated. Although it is right off the highway it was quiet. It met all our needs during our stay. Perfect for the 2 of us. Only one issue, the shower in the bathroom would benefit from a shower curtain that would let light in as the bathroom is a little dark. Communication with the management was great. We would stay again.

Cabin close to all things in south fork - you can use your ATV/UTV on the path in front of house to get to BLM and Forest Fire Roads. The cabin is a perfect size for all you needs
