  • License number: 2025-STR-1037. Set in the quiet Ponderosa neighborhood, this cabin is all set up to host your family or group getaway! All throughout the home, guests can relax and enjoy a true cabin experience. The fully equipped kitchen's open design allows for guests to cook up a delicious dinner while carrying on conversations with others in the dining area or living room. The bonus round table is perfect for games or puzzles! After dinner, relax on the deck along the side and back of the house or take a spin on the porch swing in front of the house. When it comes time to settle in, guests can choose between a conventional bedroom or one with two sets of bunk beds & a queen bed. Younger guests will love sleeping on the fire engine bed. The private washer/dryer will keep things clean and allow guests more freedom to head out on their schedule. This house has plenty to enjoy!

    Wolf Creek Ski Area is 19 miles away, perfect for guests who want to be close to where the outdoor fun happens. The Rio Grande river is certified Gold Medal trout fishing, making it an ideal site to fish for certain species. Not sure where to go? Fly fishing fans can find gear and location advice at Wolf Creek Anglers, just two-and-a-half miles away from the home. If you're more interested in exploring the forest, the Rio Grande National Forest lies just over one mile from the cabin and offers 1.83 million acres to explore (including trails for motorized vehicles).

Home away from home!

This cabin is very cozy and accommodated my family of 4 very comfortably! Our favorite spot is the side porch where we drank coffe every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were grateful for the washing machine as well!

Family of 4 vacay

We came to trail ride for the week. The home is in a great neighborhood that we’ve stayed in previously. The home is a perfect size for us, 2 adults, 19 year old daughter & 15 year old son. Another family would’ve been fine to join. Sleeping arrangements would’ve been fine as there were plenty of beds . The seating would’ve been a bit tight but it would’ve been fine! The kitchen was well stocked to cook in & had basic spices. We enjoyed the variety of games & puzzles in the evenings! Loved having the windows open listening to the birds, trees & rain. The only drawback we had were the mattresses. They were not the most comfortable.

Three Pines Cabin

The location was good since we were skiing and snowboarding at Wolf Creek. South Fork is a nice town with a good grocery store and eating out places. The cabin was a good size for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well equipped . My/our issue was the cleanliness of the furniture. In plain words, the living room chairs were filthy. They need to be replaced immediately. It made us wonder about other places that we couldn’t see. The filter system for the clothes fryer is not functioning well. Lint is everywhere. I cleaned off the dryer, but it builds up again when another load is done. Fireplace was nice with plenty of firewood provided. Beds OK. I would have liked to send a private message to the owners, but couldn’t find a way.

We loved the cabin. It was cozy and so nicely decorated. We loved the quilts.The kitchen had everything we needed. We spent lots of time on the patios. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We had visits from turkeys, elk and bunnies. We were close to all the area activities. We can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Cozy cabin in South Fork

Very cozy, comfortable cabin in South Fork nestled under Pines and Aspens. The hosts communicated in a timely and professional way all the information we needed about the cabin. There was reliable internet access for our son-in-law who needed to work remotely during our stay. The decks were nice for sitting outside. The cabins are very close in this neighborhood, but everyone was courteous and noise was never a problem. Great area for taking walks.

Nice Home

Nice home, but not a good fit for 7 men, 5 of whom weigh close to 300 lbs, and over 6' tall. Comodes are too small for a large adult, Fire engine beds re too short for the average man.Lawn furniture is weak and wobbly. That said, the area was great with visit daily from Deer, Turkeys, and Black Bear----and a rabbit! I Would stay there again with a SMALLER group!

This house was very clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our recent fly fishing vacation. The setting is in a neighborhood of similar cabin style homes. We enjoyed walks in the evening on which we spotted deer.

Nice cabin!

The property was very nice , clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. The back porch was a very nice place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening wine!

Updates

The only thing that I’d hope to see changes would be the quality of the mattresses, they are due for an update. The master seemed decent but the rest we lacking.
