The owner was quick to find us a condo to stay in the first night since the property had sticky alcohol on all surfaces and had not been cleaned upon our arrival.

home base in South Fork
We (a family of 4) spent 6 nights in the house on Ponderosa. There was plenty of space. The boys (16 and 18 yo) stayed upstairs and mom and dad stayed downstairs. The living/main room was perfect for after dinner games or family time. The Kitchen table was a great setting for board games and cards. The Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need, in fact I would say that there might be too many utensils in the drawers. Pots and pans were plentiful. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, showers worked well. The bed in the master was pretty soft (too soft to my liking) but it worked for 6 nights. The clothes washer worked but was noisy. The fireplace is electric and the main source of heat for the main room, it worked well but took some getting used to. Location was great. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again. one note, there is key box on the outside of the house, that is not the key box you need t get in the door. The door has a combo lock build into it, that is what you need to put the combo into to get into the house. Also the screen door handle needs bit of attention it fell off a few times. Otherwise great place.

Fantastic experience!!
We so enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We couldn't have asked for any more. We brought in groceries only to discover there was a quite a bit already there. It exceeded our expectation's for sure. Great place!
The process was easy as well as comminication. Very clean and everything u could ask for in kitchen. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again. Skiing was great at Wolfe creek!

Perfect for our family!
This cabin was perfect! It was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities and utensils/cookware you could need. There are only beds to fit 8 people, but the couch works if needed for a 9th. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back to this cabin another time!

Great place
We loved the house but when we arrived, the house hadn’t been cleaned. They promptly arrived and changed the linens but didn’t actually clean the house. Due to them waiving our cleaning fee we didn’t make a big deal of it but would have liked it to be a bit cleaner.

Thank you for your review Lauren. I can assure you we did clean the house, Vacuumed the floors, swept, mopped, cleaned bathrooms, restocked, excreta. I do apologize for the confusion on the cleaning but as we felt made it right by returning the cleaning fee. Thank you again for your review.

Amazing!
This property was perfect! We were two families (4 adults and 4 kids: ages 8-13). The layout was great for us. All the amenities of home were there. Even the small stuff like hand soaps, dishwasher pods, laundry stuff and trash bags. The open design was wonderful for cooking and visiting and just relaxing. We loved looking out the windows and seeing the deer and turkey walking by. Awesome place to stay. Thanks!

Couple getaway
We were two retired couples who wanted a short escape. The men played golf while the women explored nearby Creede. Ponderosa Pines was a a short way off the highway so access to everything was easy. It has a nice deck perfect for that morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Nice getaway!
This cabin is super nice and comfy. My only complaint is the upstairs got pretty hot in the daytime and it could use some air conditioning. I realize it’s the mountains but in the summer it is hot upstairs! Everything else is really nice and plenty of room to spread out and is convenient to get to anywhere you want in the area.

Skiers perfect get away
This is a great place to stay for skiers. 20 min. from ski area, easy neighbor hood access, very nice neighborhood. The home is has a good layout, nice kitchen amenities, big bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. No hot tub, that was not a big deal for us. Very clean and comfortable beds. The property manager was easy to contact and answered questions fast. We will stay again! Thanks!

Great get away cabin!
It was very clean, huge windows, well stocked, the manager came and cleared the driveway after heavy snowfall, the deer and scenery is just beautiful. Perfect for our family. The upstairs loft is a perfect retreat for the kids after a long day of skiing at Wolf Creek

Great House for family get together
This is a very cozy home with a beautiful fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen. I loved all of the kitchen gadgets and it had everything. The beds were comfortable and we all enjoyed this house very much. My husband and kids loved the skiing and the drive to Wolf Creek was only about 20 min. Great place to stay forsure!

Wonderful Place to Stay
Beautiful, well-equipped cabin in a peaceful neighborhood inhabited by LOTS of wildlife (deer, turkeys, rabbits and squirrels). The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Weekend Get Away
The property itself was amazing, we use the home to stay for a wedding in South Fork. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The only complaint is the upstairs sink was dirty with what appeared to be hair shavings, the stove top and the toaster were also on the dirty side. Other wise the home was great. Would definitely recommend it and stay again. Thank you to the owners!

Great home
131 Fir was a spacious home that provided six adults and one child all the space and beds we needed. We appreciated the living room space and fireplace for all of us to gather and collect ourselves after our daughter's wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything better Everything we needed except an iron & ironing board.

Lovely Property - Extremely Well Equipped
This is a beautiful property - Immaculate! It is also one of the best stocked homes - bowls, kitchen things, towels, linens - even games.. Tons of wildlife and a lovely layout. We will be back!

Wonderful, clean place that we would stay at again
It is a lovely place. We really enjoyed seethe wild turkeys and deer outside every morning and evening. I would definitely recommend staying here

Perfect getaway home for 2 families!
This house is equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Perfect location! Took us 20 minutes to get to the ski area. You won't find much closer than that...not to mention that South Fork had a lot more snow on the ground than did Pagosa Springs at the same time. This house works great for 2 families because there was a full bath upstairs (with 2 queen beds) AND a full bath downstairs (where a king & queen bed were). The half-bath was super handy too. I HIGHLY recommend this property. Would love to return in the summer!!

It is a great place to stay!
My family came for a 3 day ski trip. The house was only 20 minutes from the ski area. We had a wonderful time. The Washer and dryer were a great addition and stocked with soap and dryer sheets. The kitchen was well stocked. Previous tenants had left some staples and we didn't use much, but it was nice to have salt that I forgot. My suggestions are It would have been nice to have a book with directions for the gas fire place and the TV . Would I stay there again? You bet.

I wouldn't say this is a "duel master" exactly but it is a beautiful property. Everything is up dated and very clean. The kitchen was easy to use and the living room was large and comfortable.

Very nice new well stocked home!!!
This is a very nice, new feeling home. it is very well stocked with the little things you need for a short stay and not have to run to the store every day for something you forgot. The location is very convenient to the little town and skiing. My only concerns were the heat and requests to help with the cleaning. I arrived for a late check in to a very cold house, 54 degrees. I immediately tuned the heat up and turned the fire place on. by morning the house was still at 54 degrees, the fire place had shut off and the electric heat just couldn't catch up. The house is designed to have the fireplace heat the main living area but the blower was not working, and was on a timer so once it shut off you either had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it back on or wake to a cold house. When contacted the management did bring over a space heater, however that would not stay on for more than 5 min at a time either. About the request to help clean. Although it is not a big inconvenience, I am on vacation, and I am paying a cleaning fee, as a result, I was a little put out, when asked to drop off the garbage in town, and strip the beds.
