Our Stay in south fork
Positives: fairly clean, dog friendly, quiet Negatives: not a cabin. Old school Motel room. Only one pot in kitchen. Two old scratched skillets .

Waited for 2 hours before someone could let us in.
Good place to stay. If it wouldn't have been for maintenance man showing up we would have not gotten in. Need at least who to contact if there is a problem! Contacted Vacasa and was on hold for 30+ minutes and was just left on hold saying some one would be with me.. Plus says there is a futon that makes out into another bed. Is a sofa, and even though it appears some what new it is the pits to sleep on! Main bed was excellent. A rollaway bed moght be more comfortable?

No linens for second bed
This is a room in an older motel row in the middle of town that has had good renovations. Nice bathroom, lots of hot water, modern kitchen appliances. The second bed is a pull out couch AND unfortunately, on the evening when we moved in there were no sheets or blankets for this bed. Vacasa is the manager and we waited two hours before hearing back from them. By then it was too late to contact the local owner. We made do with a couple army blankets from the back of my car that night. Linens and blanket showed up the next day. The management never checked back in with us to see how we were doing and it is this unresponsiveness that earns to single star rating.

Perfect for two
Comfortable bed, clean floors, cozy space. Small but perfect for two. The fridge was really loud but expected in a small space. Can opener was missing. This is our go to place when on a budget and overall, we like it because it’s very clean.

Second time staying here, disappointed again!
The property manager told me over the phone we had an end unit rented, and it was not. It was in the middle of the row, and once again our neighbors were up super late and we’re loud. The tub didn’t drain at all, and the refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it!

Weekend Getaway
The location and price make this property the perfect weekend getaway! Close to fishing, hiking, and Pagosa Springs. Even with neighbors on all sides, our stay was worth it!

The place is very nice and clean. We loved the weather in South Fork Colorado
I loved the kitchen and the place was so cozy, clean and it’s a pet friendly place. We loved walking around the neighborhood. The place is located in the heart of town. The grocery stores and restaurant is adjacent to the property.

Great experience
We noticed when we first inspected the room that there was a few minor things that needed to be fixed but nothing major. Room was clean and comfortable. We had great neighbors all around us and that was awesome. No problems with key issues as noted by others, just check your email a day or so before you arrive for those simple instructions. Family was happy so that gives the stay an extra star. Thanks!!

Great little lodge room!
This was a great base camp for skiing at Wolf Creek. It was clean and roomy for just my husband and I. Check in and check out we’re both super easy!

Key box wouldn’t open, the toilet was patched worked, hot tubes not working room 8
Check in is 4pm but the office closes also at 4pm No person on site for help had to call for repairs I’m not a skier I wanted the hot tubes so very sad that none worked. Small appliances should be replaced I could not use coffee pot so bad. WiFi very slow, not many channels to watch on TV. Overall ok but will not come back

The coffee pot has been replaced, and the hot tub is fixed. WiFi in the home does slow down when multiple devices are using it. Again, we apologize for your frustrations and do hope to see you again. I had trouble with the code to get in, but called and was given a new one to try and that one worked, but I was actually never able to get into the locked key box.

The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. The living room was small but perfect for my husband and I. Location is right downtown South Fork so that was perfect.

Good enough for a rest while snowboarding!
We(3adults) were there to go snowboarding at wolfcreek . Its really close to the ski area(25 minutes). We mainly needed it to sleep/relax and cook while we werent on the mountain so it was fine for what we needed it for. We stayed 5 nights. Only complaints were a shower that wouldnt drain, which we called to have someone help us fix it but ended up fixing it ourselves. Another issue was the thermostat having a mind of its on. It was set at 68 and while we would sleep it would climb to 75 degrees or higher or it would drop below 55 without prompting. The kitchen utensils were to be desired but we made do with what was there. And the walls are very thin, so you get to know you neighbors pretty well without ever having to personally meet them. So besides those issues we had a good trip. We even got to see some deer up close,as they were exploring the lot by our unit.

Cabin feel.. Stepped back in time.
Well... wish there was someone in site... We loved the charm of the place but there were a few things we lived with because there was no one to tell... Guess the property is now managed by a company.. otherwise very clean and quiet... will be back.
