The property was wonderful.The only big negative is that the commode in the bunk house stopped working. I reported it and the property manager reached out to me but then never did anything about it.

Second time here and would come again!

This is our second time staying here in the past few years and we would totally do it again! Beautiful property, great location, and plenty of space for kids of all ages or run and play. We enjoyed doing a campfire in the evenings. The kids rode the bikes all over the property. The big kitchen was helpful for preparing meals. Loved it!

Perfect venue for large family gatherings

Our stay at the Cougar Canyon Main and Bunk House was fantastic. The venue and management accessibility exceeded our expectations in every way. Both homes were deep cleaned (spotless!) and well equipped to house and prepare/serve meals to our large group. It is truly a beautiful place to stay, both inside and out! We will definitely return.

Property looked abandoned and not like a vacation cabin. There was no patio table or chairs anywhere. Grill was dirty and on its last leg. Bunk house had dead flies all over.

Family Vacation

Great property. We had a large group (12 adults), the property had space for all of us. Beautiful area, deer and rabbits in the yard and on the mountain right behind the house daily. This was our first winter vacation. Would love to go back during summer for a completely different experience.

Wonderful summer getaway

Perfect Christmas Vacation

This is our third time to rent this property! It is beautiful and spacious and the views are spectacular. It is a short 25 minute drive up the mountain to Wolf Creek Ski Area, our favorite!

Great Place for a Big Family

Great place with close proximity to fishing and mountain trails. It was great because it was large and separated from neighbors. Had lots of grand kids riding their bicycles all over the property. We had camp fires and enjoyed smores and conversation. Also played all sorts of games. Hiking is right outside the back door. This property wqas great.

Wonderful place for large groups

It is a great place to stay for large groups and we feel very much comfortable as it has enough room for all of us. It has nice scenery around the house with mountains and we can hike just in the back yard. The bunk house was nicely decorated and it has separate kitchen over there as well. Water and WiFi facilities are perfectly provided and we did not get any interruption. Also the groceries and gas available near by. As it is summer, mosquitoes were everywhere outside. We should have carried the mosquito repellents. Except the mosquitoes, we had a very nice vacation!!

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a large family gathering. Equipped with everything you need. Beautiful country setting w/ easy access to main road for attractions and scenery, and shopping. Highly recommend this for a stay in Colorado.

We could not have had a better experience. The house and bunk house fit our needs perfectly.

It was the day after Christmas when we arrived, there were 17 of us, all family and we were in Southfork for 3 days of skiing. The house and bunkhouse was exactly as advertised. It was spacious clean well equipped and stocked. Everything was top notch. The information and instructions I received from the owner was “dead on accurate “, from where the keys were to where to take our trash at the end of the stay. During our stay, we had about a 4 inch snowfall overnight. However, before we left that morning to go ski, the private snow plow was there to shovel the walks and plow the driveway and parking area so we had no worries about getting out. We had a water line temporarily freeze in the bunkhouse, we called the property manager that morning and when we returned, problem solved. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The furniture throughout the house was very comfortable. Our whole experience was the best a definite 5 star experience!!!

Great place to have a vacation!!!

There where 20 of us and there was still room. What a great place. It backs up to the forest. All the hiking you can do just in the back yard. We are booking for 2019.
