"We chose this property because of the age (1740s farmhouse) and convenient location in the southern Berkshires only 15 minutes or so from Great Barrington. The house did not disappoint. "The owner is very very nice. We biked from nyc, and heading to upstate NY. We booked this hotel at the last minute because it's close to empire State trail. The room is quiet and clean. The owner allowed my kids to pick the strawberry, raspberries and tomatoes. Everything tasted so sweet right off the vine. This literally made their day. The hot tub was so nice after whole day of biking. The ice cream that the owner made was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in this...

"This cottage is as charming as it looks in photos…warm, clean, cozy and rustic chic like something out of a home decor magazine. The host greeted us on arrival and graciously invited us to enjoy the entire pristine grounds during our stay, including the stunning pool/ patio at the main house adjacent to the cottage. She couldn’t have been sweeter and made herself available for anything we needed. We loved our stay at Whispering Estate and would definitely be back!"

"Wonderful stay at this property!! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool and grounds. We did have an issue with the fire pit however the house manager responded very quickly. The problem was solved and the equipment was in working order the same day. The location was close to town and two large supermarkets. We hope to return again to this beautiful property! The host was communicative and responsive, although everything was so well-thought out on his part, we didn't have much need to talk to the hosts. "Location was excellent! Everything in walking distance, and short drive to Tanglewood, The bedroom and shower are a small space but clean. Very comfortable living room space. Kitchenette small but manageable. Unfortunately the tray for the toaster oven was gross and stuck to the top of the toaster oven. Toaster oven itself was usable. Nice place to stay for a weekend but any longer could be a little uncomfortable. Outdoor grounds were beautiful! "

"From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming.
