"The place was perfect for a week in the Adirondacks with the family. Kayaks, well stocked updated kitchen, plenty of room to sleep 6, and two levels of deck. Great interface with the outdoors but the WiFi worked great to occupy kids during down time. Most of all, the owner John was super accommodating. One of the air conditioners in a bedroom stopped working and a new one was installed in about 2 hours! Five stars not enough. "

"The property was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was perfect for making breakfast at home and sandwiches to go. The owners are on site so are available in case of any problems, though we had none. We would definitely stay there again."

"Just pulling in we were in awe of the beauty! Then once inside we were giddy…absolutely stunning mountain log cabin with so many amenities and beautiful furnishings, artwork, stunning appliances and beautiful baghroooms and super comfy beds and the list is endless! This was just what we needed and more Outdoor fire pit, seating, enclosed porch … serene and restful!"

"We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. "The treehouse was very cozy and cooled down very well at night. They have great trails and kayaks to use which the dog loved. The hosts were communicative and gracious. They gave us some fresh strawberries from their garden as well. We hope to get back in the not too distant future. "

"We stayed here for a perfect fall getaway. A little hard to find in the dark, so I'd recommend getting there before dark. Other than that it was in a peaceful setting, quiet out of the way place we'd definitely stay at again. "

Still enjoyed all the amenities of this beautiful property, beautiful home, plenty of parking, hot tub w/ complimentary robes, putting green, and professional pickle ball court. Enjoyed kayaking on the glassy river. Easy to book and check out. Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Felt much bigger than the pictures show. Wish it could have been longer. Definitely recommend! "Perfect! Very clean comfortable small home. Beautiful, serene property on a beautiful quiet point of the Racquette River. Miles of beautiful pine needle covered hiking trails along the river just steps away. Great location, pretty short drive to campuses, restaurants, convenience stores.
