The kitchen was one of the best equipped we've had of all the vacation rentals we've stayed at. The property had plenty of room for everyone inside and out.We had the best weather week, went boating and swam daily. We had a great stay!

Wonderful week away, as always! Year number four in the books! This house is absolutely perfect for family. The lake is beautiful, there’s plenty around for activities and food, everything is just right. The house itself is inviting and just feels like a home. Highly recommend!

Great vacation

We had a great time and got a chance to rest and enjoy. Big lake, lots of peace and quiet. Got to do lots of paddle board and swimming.The cottage was very well stock with everything you need.The whole process was easy. I would recommend highly!

This is a great home base to explore the surrounding towns including Hallowell, Gardiner, Belfast and Damariscotta. The house was very well stocked with everything we could've needed and more. Enjoyed swimming and kayaking, and spent lots of time playing board games on the deck. The breeze coming off the lake was idyllic!

Another Great Week

This was our third stay and best yet! The addition of the dock was just great. Our kids loved fishing off it, jumping off it and just sitting there dipping in their toes. It’s such a pleasure staying here and communicating with Jeanne was easy as ever. We had a wonderful week!

Lovely quiet cottage

We had a great stay at this quiet cottage that is convenient to Augusta. The cottsge is well equipped for cooking. We also enjoyed the water - cayaking and swiming. The water was a bit green but we just made sure to shower after coming out. I highly recommdne the place!

A clean, roomy house on a quiet lake

We needed space for up to seven people who converged on central Maine for a weekend get together. This home fit the bill nicely. The small neighborhood is peaceful and though we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy the lake, the boats that were available were inviting. The air conditioning worked well but bedroom doors needed to stay open for the rooms that weren't equipped, not a big deal for us. I enjoyed the pleasant deck in the early morning, and as we had business and meetings in the Augusta area, the 20-minute trip on Highway 3 was convenient. We would happily return on a future visit.

Great stay! Amazing fishing

We loved our week stay here. We chose it due to proximity to family and the boating/fishing opportunities. We hope to return next year. My husband caught over 100 fish over the week! The only thing I wish I had known was that the internet was not very strong and since two of us had to work while on our trip, we ended up hotspotting our phones instead. Small detail and hope in the future to not have to work on a trip! Jeanne was very responsive and communicative. Kitchen had everything we could need. Next door neighbors were very friendly.

Location,,location,location and weather extreems!

Loved it! Well supplied and good ac!! Needed it! Then needed snuggly warm wraps all in one week! Needs a good bird book to go with all the great cookbooks to curl up and read during the rainy days. Location was great...close to Manchester, Augusta, Freedom , Belfast and Rockland...all great day trips!😍Maine from SC

Second visit!

My husband and I live in Virginia but have family on China lake. We needed a place to stay for a family get together and we have a large family. The cabin was convenient to other family as well as easy to get to. Great food store near to stock up on goodies for the week. The cabin is clean and roomy. We would recommend it to anyone. J&L

Upon arrival there where lots of flys in the house, may be due to the screen on the sliding door that has taped up rips. All thru the week we battled with bugs in the house. The dishwasher was full of dishes. There is a problem with the smell of the water or the backup of sewer gas. Not quite sure which one but not very pleasant to get washed in or take a shower in. Neighbors house is very close and the fire pit is almost on the property line, also they are very nice people you feel like you infringe on their privacy. My wife and I been going to different properties in Maine the last 15 years and this was one of the most disappointing places we stayed at for the money we payed.

Perfect little house

We stayed here for a summer get-away. Proximity to the lake could not have been more amazing- we fully enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. The house was perfect for our needs, plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, great grill. Also being 4 minutes from Hannaford made shopping and cooking a breeze. We also enjoyed the local ice cream shop daily!

Week on 3 mile pond

I traveled with my 3 kids and pets, and the house itself was wonderful with all the amenities you could want. We did a couple of day trips to Belfast & Camden which are within an hour of the house. We also did a couple of day trip hikes that were nearby as well. Hannaford is 5 minutes away which is so convenient. The neighbor Dennis was very nice but I was not anticipating the houses to be so close. Overall great time with family and friends.
