  • This 5+ bedroom home offers spectacular lake views and sunsets over Lake Champlain - minutes to everything by car or bike! Close to UVM and centrally located between Burlington, Shelburne and Charlotte, its Spear Street South Burlington location is perfect for alumni weekends, weddings and reunions with friends and family. The house offers bright rooms to gather, but is large enough to allow private office spaces to work and porches to relax with a good book.

    Spear Street is minutes to popular wedding venues including Shelburne Farms and the Old Lantern Inn, a quick trip to Burlington breweries, and just a few miles to the lake. You can enjoy day trips to Stowe, explore the Lake Champlain Islands, take in all of Burlington area's shopping and dining or simply stay put enjoying this happy home.

    Front and back stone patios with a wooden fire pit and barbecue grill offer everything you may need for stay at home evening activities. The front porch off of the master suite offers a gas fireplace for additional comfort on cool nights and a cozy ambiance while enjoying the many gorgeous sunsets over the lake. The backyard looks like a professional soccer field with a perfectly flat surface for playing kickball, soccer, lacrosse, flying kites and other fun family activities.

    The spacious family, kitchen and dining area is absolutely beautiful for entertaining in and out of the house which provides an open flow from front to back patios.

    Every bedroom has breathtaking views of the lake with three of the five bedrooms offering full private bathrooms. We had a lovely stay! Debbie and Andrew were wonderful hosts! Debbie was especially helpful trying to assist in coordinating what I would need to bring and what she had available at the house for 3 grandbabies!The house is amazing and allowed everyone enough private space but also had large family space for all to gather! The outdoor space was amazing too! Wishing the weather was a bit drier so we could have fully taken advantage of all that beautiful space ! Hope to stay there again in the future!

A weekend in Vermont

I was very pleased with this lovely home. It is very spacious with a great floor plan and fantastic views towards Lake Champlain. For a family or a group of friends it is the perfect get away, relax and enjoy life place to be.

Lovely home

The home was amazing, perfect for our needs! Very comfortable for 9 adults, (parents with adult children), excellent location, and so well appointed. The photos are spot on—the view from the house is truly that wonderful!

Family Weekend

Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous house. Everything was perfect! We had plenty of room to spread out, a beautiful, well equipped kitchen to cook our meals, and amazing views. Thank you and we hope to be back!

Beautiful house!

The house was perfect for my extended family to spend time together. The owners were attentive and thought of everything to make our stay fantastic. The house was beautiful and clean. It is in a great location as well. I would highly recommended this house to anyone looking for a vacation in Vermont!

Beautiful spot and convenient location

The place was fantastic and everything we were looking for and then some. We comfortably slept 11 people over 2 nights. The hot tub got plenty of use. the location is so close to lots of things to do and places to see in Burlington. We were all extremely happy with our stay.

This property was exactly as described. The communication with the hosts Deb and Andrew was instant and accommodating. The welcome guide sent in advance was the most informative we have ever received. The home was spectacular with wonderful views of the lake, and a large hot tub that the group enjoyed more than we expected. The home is stocked with visitor supplies like no other home we have stayed in. Highly recommended with honestly no negative aspects experienced during our booking, stay or departure.

Couldn't have asked for anything more!!!

We had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend at this special property. Everyone had enough privacy and space to relax, and the home is also set up with plenty of space to connect as a family or group of friends. We especially enjoyed watching the sun set, relaxing by the outdoor fire, and gathering for meals at the large table and island.

Wedding and exploring Vermont

Great property, lots of room and very comfortable. Views were outstanding and location was great for checking out the state. Nice attention to detail made it very easy to use. Providing a variety of spices, coffee and filters really is convenient. Kitchen is great for cooking and furnished adequately.

A beautiful weekend

We celebrated my husbands 40th with all our siblings --it was a special weekend and the beauty of the house made it all that more special. We got to enjoy the great firepit and incredible sunsets, a kitchen for us all to enjoy together! Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with us.

Perfect Place in South Burlington

We came early to VT for a family wedding and found this to be the perfect house for our large active family. Besides a great layout for the house, the outside large grill, fireplace and hot tub combined with endless seating made it a great place to enjoy sun rises and sunsets. It was the home we were hoping for.

Wonderful family getaway

We loved this house!! The yard was huge and the views were stunning. We had a lot of space to spread out. From grandparents to young kids, it worked for everyone. Convenient location, super quiet and a quick drive to downtown Burlington. We would stay here again!

Amazing House

We had a great time this past weekend. The house was very clean, all rooms a good size. Slept all 10 of us comfortably. Lots of room for our large dinner parties. Fire pit was a big hit on a cool May night. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Outstanding!!!

This home is everything we could have hoped for and more. The house is spacious, comfortable, extremely well stocked, and sits on a beautiful piece of land. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We celebrated our daughter's graduation and couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. We are already talking about when we can go back.

First Visit to our UVM Freshman

The property is amazing. Great everything. Lots of different space for entertaining or just hanging out. Beautiful views and perfect location. Just far enough to get out into a nice quiet setting, but, literally, minutes from everything the Burlington area offers. We were 2 families visiting our respective students for the weekend with a lot of coming and going, as well as big dinners with other friends from the area. EVERYONE loved the property and the house.
