Not sure how to respond to this, except to say, we have lots of pictures, and we are sorry you didn't appreciate the special thoughts, care and details put into the creation of the rooms in the barn. You could have cancelled at no fee. The room you booked is the entire third floor and it is a private space with a private bath. It is in a barn, reuses hardware, doors and windows from the original house which have been entirely retrofitted. Even if under the roof, special attention was put into bringing in natural daylight for a feeling of openness and creating a balcony with mahogany inserts in the floor. We actually have people that request the barn over the house. The barn is rustic as that is its style. We trust that bookers would take the time to review the rooms prior to booking as we have no control over what you are willing to look at. Best travels.
