Wonderful gem in Souris
This spot was a lucky find! This lovely home was spotless and well-appointed. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Souris. The location is perfect- with wonderful spots to explore by car and by foot. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful- and we cannot say enough good things about our hosts, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. We hope to return to PEI some day, and would be eager to stay at this VRBO again…everything was simply perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. Melissa King and Scott Wallace

We have found a pearl in Souris
Well located nearby thé ferry to go to « Iles de la Madeleine « , Nice view of the océan … The cottage was cozy, well refurbished

Perfect location for Souris!
The house is perfectly located for a stay in Souris, with much of the town available within walking distance and a great view of the ferry coming into and out of port each day. The house is perfectly equipped for your visit and very comfortable. We even saw a neighborly fox enjoying the waterfront park as well!

Simply the best
My words will not cover how pleased we were with Cathy’s property. The property is beautifully renovated with so much attention to ensure a quality stay; lovely linens, dishes, decor unique to PE, and the most well equipped property I have ever been. Cathy also ensured we were aware of local events and went out of her way to ensure our stay was great! From cleanliness to location, it really was incredible! This property will not disappoint! We will indeed be back! Many thanks for your hospitality Cathy!

Souris
We enjoyed our stay at Cathy’s property. The home was very comfortable for 2 couples, very clean and wonderfully decorated. The view of the harbour from the front porch gave the men hours of enjoyment watching the daily coming and going of travellers lol. The grocery store, liquor store, Lobster Shack and Poke Shack are all less than a 5 min drive away. If you are considering this rental you won’t be disappointed.

A perfect waterfront getaway!
This newly renovated 2 bedroom could not have been more lovely! All the details have been considered and feels like it is right off the pages of a summer beach read. Add the waterfront location and value is incredible!

The Best of PEI
We’ve stayed in a lot of wonderful places, but Cathy’s cottage was the best equipped and most thoughtfully decorated. It was a joy to hang out there, especially on our one blustery day of our vacation. The beds are comfy with a lovely ocean breeze coming through the window. Loved the washer/dryer. The appliances were super and the stove had a great hood fan for cooking seafood. The dishes, placemats, etc were so pretty. Cathy was excellent at taking care of us, even sending over the neighbours to solve a tv problem when we still wanted to watch The Jays! Great value for Ontario residents used to sky high cottage rentals. Worth the drive to PEI and lots to do in Souris.

On my list of favorites!
I spent 3 days in Souris with my teenage daughter. We both could not be happier with the accommodations and the host. We spent our days exploring the beautiful beaches, local restaurants, and quaint craft shops. At the end of a busy day, 2 Cliff Crescent with its tasteful interiors, cleanliness, amenities, and inviting atmosphere was the perfect place to relax and unwind. I’ve already added this spot to my list of VRBO favorites. Thanks again Cathy.

Calming luxury

Beautiful home in Souris, perfectly located!
This home had everything we needed and more. Every room is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and cozy. Kitchen is also very well equipped, which is a big plus! The house is strategically located and you can access groceries, shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Only 10 minutes drive away from Basin Head beach and an hour from Charlottetown. We had plenty of things to do when the weather was nice and cozied ourselves inside if it was raining. We would gladly come back for another week!

Stellar boutique Souris property strategically located close to many PEI travel amenities.
My wife and I have been very fortunate and privileged to stay for 9 nights at the gorgeous upscale contemporary beach house of Cathy Rose. Our stay was part of a 2.5 week road cycling vacation in PEI. The property, a 1938 classic beach house has been totally renovated in 2021 reflecting an enormous amount of thought, vision, and planning on behalf of Cathy and her husband Dave. Cathy exudes high standards in her ultra organised, responsive and communicative ways. We always felt very cared for. Cathy thinks like a traveller and is superb at understanding their needs. A very classy and thoughtful ensemble of gifts waited for us upon our arrival…PEI potato fudge from Souris, preserves, specialty roasted coffee and ice cream bars made us feel at home and added a very personal touch to this spotless home. Our memories of Souris include our neighbour Thelma who has lived in her home for 62 years and the hard working women of the superb Seaside Bakery and Evergreen Cafe. The property is strategically located close to Montague, East Point Lighthouse, Confederation Trail and day trips to Charlottetown are entirely possible. I have been fortunate to travel independently for over 40 years and have done over 100 VRBO bookings. This property has a high amenity value, is superbly run and managed and is located in a very strategic area of PEI. Look no further……. book it now! Dean Roberts

Wonderful home
We had the best time here. The house was amazing, had everything we needed and more. Clean and tidy, recently renovated. The decorating and personal touches made this a truly wonderful place to stay. Cathy was such a welcoming, helpful and gracious host, and we will definitely be back.

Watch the harbour in a clean and modern home

Beautiful cottage!
This place was newly renovated and we were the first guests!! Wow, what a beautiful renovation it was. There was a lot of attention to detail. It was so beautifully decorated as well, but felt cozy and just as a cottage should feel. Had everything we needed for our stay. View was awesome! Beds were comfy! And Cathy was great to communicate with.
