"My husband and I had the most amazing week here! Went fishing every day. Caught loads of fish around the lake. Even caught several off the dock, including a keeper walleye, perch, bass and northern! Sat and watched the northern lights from the dock one night. Grilled some steaks, went kayaking, saw lots of eagles and loons. Had a few campfires and enjoyed a cozy night by the fireplace. "Everything was great for us! The check in process was a little rough but no fault to Tanner or Silka as we just never recieved the email from vrbo.Great cabin, great location especially if you're there for the atv trails like us!Tanner and his wife Silka were great host and very hospitable! "We had a wonderful stay! The location is private with trees and bushes in between the neighbors so you don't see them. The dock easily fit two fishing boats. There were more than enough trash bins to hold all of our trash, which is a big plus because some places don't have enough. The main house was a little bit to get to the water to (my parents are 79 and 82) but there is a small cabin that is right on the water. That had a bathroom and a refrigerator that could be used so you could hang out...

"The camper was nice and comfortable. The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. Owner was very accommodating for making sure we had everything we needed and supplied multiple containers of gas and even ice in his own coolers, so we didn't have to...

"We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. Showering is simple using the collected rain water in the barrels outside and a battery powered shower head.Having the boat is awesome, and works very well for fishing and simply exploring the lake. It's a small motor so you won't be zipping around the lake, but it serves its purpose very well. We also enjoyed using the paddle boat and canoe.Outside the cabin there is also a firepit with a grill attachment that we loved to use, a charcoal grill, and a gas grill. There are a couple different places to hangout and have great views of the sunset as well. It is incredibly peaceful listening to the loons as the sun goes down.We had no issues organizing our stay with Neil and the caretaker Rob, and it was very easy checking in and out.Overall, our stay was wonderful. It exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back."
