The property was absolutely beautiful, lush,well kept - a total oasis. Our room was steps away from the ocean and the view was even better than the photos. The staff were readily available, helpful, friendly. The host Michael was super responsive and helpful. Location is super convenient with many cafes and restaurants within walking distance on the beach, but Cabarete was also really easy to drive around and park. My husband rented wing foiling gear from a spot a few minutes away on the beach. One of our favorite vacations ever and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another stay!

Couldn’t wish for a better place

This home right on Kite beach is just wonderful. I can’t say anything more but to come and see it for yourself! The view, the location, the atmosphere are top notch, not to mention the owners’ hospitality. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely beach-front apartment

The view and location were perfect. There were a couple restaurants within 10 minutes walk. It was a nice quiet getaway, with amazing weather and a peaceful setting. We loved it!

Great experience overall. Very Very nice place and if you are there to kite this is as good as it gets. Spot right in front, shower, kite room, deck to chill and stare at the ocean etc. All wonderful. Would love to come back again.

Fabulous Stay!

This property is one of the very best we've stayed at...and we've stayed at A LOT! Every detail in this beautiful condo is so well thought out - the pictures don't do it justice! Unlike many vacation rentals, the unit actually felt more spacious than the photos showed. The view was breathtaking, the location perfect, and the hosts were among the friendliest and accommodating we've encountered. We can't recommend this property highly enough!

Absolutely beautiful location & condo

The condo was extremely clean and well appointed. My family had a wonderful vacation. Kite Beach is exceptional and lots a great restrauarants near by. Extremely quite and relaxing on our side of the beach. I would love t go to this place again in the future. Thank you Michael and Alicia for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect vacation

Everything was absolutely perfect! The condo was beautiful and the property with swimming pool was very relaxing. Of course being able to walk out the door and have perfect wing foiling within feet was incredible. We look forward to next year. Thanks so much for sharing this treasure with us.

Very nice condo, the grounds are so beautiful you feel like you have found your own tropical paradise.Michael and Alicia answered any questions we had before our stay, gave us great recommendations of where to eat, places to see etc. and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. We did not rent a car and used Marino when we needed to go anywhere(recommended by Michael & Alicia). We highly recommend this property and the area. The locals were very nice and helpful. , etc

We had a wonderful time here! This is our third time staying in Kite Beach. We absolutely loved Michael and Alicia's place! The condo was so clean and bright and the decor was so tastefully executed. We had everything we could've needed for our stay. The guide book provided was extremely helpful and overall, the staff were superb! We had a bit of a long wait before we could check in but I think that was due to unforseen circumstances. We will definitely be coming back to Michael and Alicia's place! They were excellent hosts and great communicators.

Beautiful condo with amazing views

We loved our stay at Michael and Alicia’s condo. The condo is in a small complex situated on the beach surrounded by amazing gardens. The condo had everything we needed, even wine aerators! No detail seemed left untouched. The condo is comfortable and decorated beautifully. We came to kite and this is the best location, we’ve been coming here for years. The pool is also amazing and out of the wind nestled in the gardens. We will be back again and again.

Perfection at Palacio

2B Palacio is a beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious apartment with excellent concierge attention by owners, Michael & Alicia and all the on premise staff. Palacio is ideally located yet tucked away, quiet, private, peaceful. It is completely unique and a complete delight with sounds of the ocean, feel of the constant breeze, surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens, gorgeous ocean views. With everything to do (for every age) or nothing to do, whatever the heart desires! Thank you, Michael & Alicia for our week in Paradise at your lovely home! Wow!! What a delightful pleasure to stay here. Gorgeous view, light bright main room, fully!!! outfitted kitchen (even a squeezer for lemons and one for limes. really sharp knives). Lovely long walks in both directions on smooth sandy beach. Afternoon and evening entertainment watching kite surfers. Nearby beach restaurants serves elegant sushi (try the Godzilla). Owner and manager are thoughtful and terrific communicators. Staff staying in building respond to any an all needs. Pool well shaded. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Beachfront Vacation

Wow! We have stayed in a number of VRBO properties and this one is by far the nicest we have ever been to. The property is exactly as described on a stunningly beautiful beach. We spent 1 month here and found the condo to be amazingly well equipped. Michael the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions and provided us with lots of great information on the area. We had Marino take us to 27 waterfalls park and dinner at Wilson's. He was very reliable and friendly. Kathy was also very helpful in helping us to arrange outings and answer our questions. We absolutely fell in love with the area and its people. We can't wait to go back. Thank you to Michael and Alicia for sharing their little slice of paradise!

A fantastic place to work and play!

This is the second time we've stayed at Michael and Alecia's wonderful place. We loved it so much we came back for two months (staying one month here). The spot is unbeatable, steps to the beach, amazing gardens, quiet pool area and the unit itself is remarkably well equipped. Michael and Alecia are wonderful hosts and we had the opportunity to meet them in person. There are only 6 units in the whole building so it is always quiet. For kiteboarders there is a main floor storage room which is very convenient. The unit itself has been beautifully remodeled and is so bright and airy. And the view... watch the kites fly by sitting on the balcony overlooking the most amazing gardens. Kite beach has a wonderful community feel and we'll never stay anywhere else while visiting Cabarete. And of course, all the staff are so friendly and work hard keeping the property clean and tidy. We can't wait to come back!

THIS is the Place to Stay!

I don’t know where to start…..from being greeted warmly by Kathy, the property manager, and the onsite staff that welcome and assist you at every turn, to the beautiful condo in the perfect location! Morning coffee with the magnificent ocean views and waves (still a HUGE fan of the “coffee bar”), and then preparing lunch in the well-stocked gorgeous kitchen while watching the kite surfers, to walking on the beach to experience the Cabarete night life! This was our second time here and we have never had a better VRBO experience, hands down!!!!! Michael and Alicia are incredible hosts and we are so thankful they share their luxurious accommodations with us! Monkey Jungle is a must (nearby), and you can’t go wrong with the dining. Our favorites are Optimal (2 minute beach walk), Yalla (20 minute beach walk), and then Ceiba for an Italian fix and located in nearby Perla Marina (5 minute drive). Oh, and Coconuts on Hideaway Beach (5 minute drive). You can’t go wrong with this place! Michael and Alicia, thank you so very much! We love your home and appreciate all you have done to ensure the luxury experience for your guests.

My New Cabarete Favourite!

So much to say about this wonderful property and the hosts Michael and Alicia. Before arrival, Michael and Alicia were extremely helpful. Given the uncertainty around travel they were very accommodating and quickly responded to all my questions. They provided detailed information on everything from restaurants to excursions. They arranged the airport taxi pickup and the check in process was as smooth as could be. Kathy, the property manager was also extremely helpful and very responsive. The gardens were immaculate (the photos don't do it justice!) and the view of them and the ocean were sublime. The little deck was a great spot for watching all the kiting action. With only six units the property was very quiet and it was easy to get to know the fellow guests or owners. The unit is bright and airy and beautifully decorated. Wall to wall glass doors give a stunning view of the ocean. The covered patio was huge with ample seating. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could need. The Internet was top notch, handled Netflix and Zoom calls easily. If you're a kiter the spot is perfect. The large launch area is away from the main spot so not so busy. A large locked storage room was great so no lugging wet gear into the unit. I hope to stay longer next time!

Most outstanding!

My wife and I have stayed at40 + rentals around the world and we thought we had seen it all! Michael and Alicia’s place blew our expectations out of the water! They thought of and supplied everything imaginable. A hot and cold water dispenser and every appliance and kitchen tool that you could ever need! The balcony was well equipped with three sitting areas making room for everyone at all times to be comfortable. The bedrooms had a secluded small balcony overlooking the swimming pool which was perfect if you wanted quiet time! They supplied many many games in a very comfortable living room. Now for the property! A amazing view from the main balcony where you could watch kite surfers all day or if you liked you could go and watch from the dock or beach! The beach in front of the property was sandy bottomed as far in as you wanted to go! Having the pool in behind seemed strange when I first read it but after getting to the property we loved it! It always had a sunny area and a shaded area. It was secluded from the wind so was very comfortable at all times! The property is manicured beautifully, better than we have ever encountered! Now for the staff. Harley deserves special mention as he was so attentive as to help not just us but other staff and never with his hand out! Dilcia the lady who cleaned our apartment did a wonderful job! The owner of the property Michael was so helpful in so many ways to anything we had questions about and also about ideas about the area. About the area, we recommend Freddy for river fishing tours and Bliss for amazing dinners. Thank you Michael and Alicia for sharing a part of your life and hope to be back next year!

Magnificent 2wks vacation in Dec ‘24

We have spent 2 weeks in Michael’s apartment. Everything was nice and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, lots of tableware and glasses, we cooked every day and even used the air fryer once.The living room is bright, with modern design and lighting and advanced light controls.The couches in living room have soft comfortable cushions. Comfortable beds and mattresses in both bedrooms. The balcony is spacious with outdoor chairs and chaise longues. The view from the balcony is superb - you see the garden and then the sea with colorful kites in the air. The building is in an enclosed court with beautiful tropical garden, full of lush, vibrant greenery and blooming flowers. There is a sun deck in the front-yard close to the beach with several chaise longues. Michael is very helpful, he provided everything that we needed promptly.

"Stunning views"

This property was absolutely perfect! The space was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the location was fantastic, with easy access to everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Michael (owner) was also incredibly responsive and helpful, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property! The best place I have ever stayed..The Beach Club at Sea Horse Ranch overlooking the Ocean for Dinner is a Must. Lana & friends :)
