Apartamento precioso.

Sorrento es un lugar acogedor, con un paisaje inigualable. El apartamento iguala esas caracteristicas. Estuvimos perfectamente integradas en el lugar gracias también al este alojamiento situado en un caserón restaurado del siglo XVIII. Nos recibió Alessandro que es un chico encantador, muy amable, dispuesto a solucionar cualquier problema que pudiera surgir.

Location, location, location. In the main square close to every thing. Check in was simple, room was clean, host was very responsive, and aircon worked flawlessly. Great value for the money with dings on thin walls (can hear other guests), grease stains on wall in kitchen and the army of ants that appeared our last 24 hours.

Convenient location

PROS: Property was clean, and the manager was friendly. Location was excellent. CONS: People need to know that the bedroom is upstairs, and the stairs are steep and slightly wobbly and loud. Would not recommend for anyone that has problem with climbing or has young children. Did not like the outdoor bathroom as when it is raining, very inconvenient in that way. IMO, bathroom upstairs should be incorporated with rest of apartment. Also, had to buy toilet paper as there was little there upon arrival. Could not get TVs to work. Light bulb needed replaced so it was too dark.

Couldn’t have been better!

We loved everything about our stay at this property. First and foremost, the location to everything couldn’t be better. We walked to restaurants, shops, and the beach easily. You literally walk out the door and you’re in the middle of the action. Second, the place is huge by European standards. With the couches below and the bed upstairs, not to mention two bathrooms, there is easily enough room for four people. Third, the apartment was clean and quiet despite the central location. Fourth, Rita is a doll. She met us at the apartment, showed us around and then sent me a list of places to eat. Great service! I can’t recommend this property enough. If I ever get back to Sorrento, and I hope I do, I will definitely be staying here.

We loved the location of the property. We were close to everything. The communication was excellent. We ran into a small issue regarding hot water, but Rita was responded immediately and had it cleared up in no time. Sorrento was beautiful and we would certainly stay at your property again!

Outstanding location! In the heart of Sorrento!

Amore Rentals is the management company for this property. Their communications were outstanding from the moment I booked. They also offer a lot of additional services. They are not pushy at all in trying to get you to use them. But they are VERY helpful. For example, we weren’t familiar with transportation from the Naples airport to Sorrento. They gave us several options, some public transportation and some private. They were very up-front with the cost of private transportation they arranged, which is the option we selected. We found the person immediately and had a very nice ride from the airport. Our concierge, Rita was the BEST! She was very helpful throughout our trip and was super-gracious about it. The unit is located in Tasso square so it was ultra convenient. A few things to note: since the propery is overseas (we are from US), they communicated using WhatsApp. It was perfect! The other thing to note, is payment is not made through VRBO. They had their own portal. I was a little nervous about it initially, but it was fine and very easy to use.

Terrible experience

The upstairs bathroom, which is actually outside, had tons of ants. Since it outside and too cold to use, we weren’t bothered. The following morning, I put on my glasses (i have very bad eyesight) and the glasses were crawling with ants!! They were all over the night table as well. It was like a horror movie. We packed up and left. The owner insinuated that I was lying or maybe we had left food lying around. We had not! In my panic, I didn’t take pictures. She sent someone to take pictures and said there weren’t any but there were no pictures from the rooms where we saw the ants. She tried to relocate us to another apartment that was nowhere near where we wanted to be. Lights and locks didn’t work properly and it was not up to our standards. She said on the phone that she would refund me and now she is reneging. VRBO is not supporting us because we didn’t advise of a problem within 24 hours of checking in but the problem happened after 24 hours. Furthermore, they say we should have stayed and allowed them to find us another place. I wasn’t going to stay in there another minute. While Amore Rentals has good reviews on VRBO, they have terrible reviews on their website. This situation has me rethinking using VRBO again.

We loved our time at this property! Quite frankly there isn’t a better spot to stay if you’re looking for quick/convenience of location to bars, restaurants, shopping & more! The host was very communicative and super nice! We loved it here!

Wonderfull apartment for the week

The apartment is located in the heart of Sorrento, a few steps off Piazza Tasso. It’s a few minutes walk to or from the train station. A grocery store is but a block or two away; and of course there are hundreds of restaurants and bars, with some of the best being down the smallest streets and alleys. This apartment puts you in the best possible place to enjoy Sorrento, including the nightlife and entertainment on Piazza Tasso. On the practical side, the balcony is a 9 (or so) sq. mt., glassed in, shared space, no view; so if that’s important to your stay…… The apartment itself is completely modern in it’s conveniences and amenities with air conditioning, a full-size shower, comfortable bed and wonderful living room sectional. Though the kitchen is small it’s perfectly suited for making moka pot coffee and heating-up (microwave) pastries and perhaps leftovers from dinner. There is no conventional oven for baking, etc. But, truthfully, you’re not in Sorrento to be cooking, surrounded by so much wonderfully prepared and served Italian food. If you’re staying for several days, or have been on the road awhile as we had, there’s a laundromat with clean, modern washers and dryers just a few blocks away. Finally, the management company is responsive and even sets up a WhatsApp group for your stay. When you check in ensure that they show you where the extra blankets and pillows are; and, where, exactly, you’re to take the trash and recycling.
