"We loved the Emperor's suite! This was the perfect alternative to a hotel for us. The suite was cute and cozy with a barndimonium/cabin feel. This is a beautiful property and there were many family-friendly activites! There was a little confusion on our booked dates, but Tina handled it quickly and professionally. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The only negative was that the floors were very dirty in our unit. "

"John was a great host. He replied to my questions immediately. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. The cottage was perfect for our stay. I loved being up on a hill looking down on the road below. It was quiet and relaxing. The outdoor lighting was definitely appreciated. It sure gets dark in the country. The back bed was very comfortable (we didn't use the front bedroom). The Internet and TV reception was fine. Overall, a great place to stay for a great price. Thank you...

"Property was clean and spacious. Although the National Park was closed due to the shutdown, we still were able to do many things. The Bridge Walk was great, as was the Exhibition Mining Company. Having trains come by was interesting, and pretty neat. "

"Location was great and close to nearby State Parks and attractions. Very clean and nice amenities. Even for short stay host provided bottle of wine and small gifts for our stay. We had a comfortable quiet stay away from the kids. Would rent here again if we return to the area. Priced well compared to hotel and much more space. Host was helpful on the holiday to clarify location and parking instructions. We had a lovely holiday getaway. "

"We found this apartment at the last minute of our New River Gorge National Park trip planning. It turned out a hidden gem to us. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. The apartment itself is cozy, charming, well lighted and spotless clean. We feel so comfortable and relaxed as at home. all appliances are well kept and properly functioned.
