Unfortunately, cannot please all the people all the time. the 9.6 Exceptional rating has not been achieved by false advertising. I also normally do not respond to negative feedback online as it leads to a back and forth, however, I feel there are misleading statements in this review that require clarification. That being said, I am sorry your experience is not what you had expected. I will try to address each of the criticisms as outlined. As I explained when you asked about breakfast, that almost all short-term rentals do not include breakfast and nowhere in the property description was breakfast advertised or inferred. You also asked for fresh cream for coffee, another item that is not normally kept for short term rentals (however coffee whitener is always in the suite). The kitchen window is next to the dog’s yard but does NOT actually look out into it as the glass is frosted, preventing any view of the dog area and there is no need to open that window as the suite is outfitted with a heat pump and AC unit and 2 opening windows on the opposite side of the kitchen. I am not sure what your expectations were though with respect to quiet. You did choose to sleep at a property advertised as a FARM Stay on a working hobby farm. Generally, farms have animals that do make noises at times. I would take exception with the frequency and or times the dogs barked as we are very cognizant and respectful of our guests stay. The first time you notified me about any dog concern, was by text at 830am on Saturday, saying you were hoping to sleep in. This was sent after the dogs were let out of the house after an evening in their kennels and they were immediately brought back in upon your notification. The only other time you messaged about the dogs was on Sunday at 750am to say one of the dogs was whining on my back deck, and again, the dog was brought back inside. That being said, I am sorry you found the dogs so disrupting to your stay and don't know what more I could have done to please you other than reacting immediately to your concerns. As for the couch. It is a fold out couch and not a primary sleeping area. There is an extra memory foam pad in the suite to assist in making a fold out couch the best experience it can be, and I am sorry it did not meet your expectations. I can only hope this was a one-off experience for you and your future stays meet your expectations.
