Excellent communication with the host. There is a small bathroom in the master, and one jack and Jill bath in the front for the other rooms to share. The toilets are low, so for our group (5 people over 70) it wasn't ideal from a safety perspective, it was perfect for visiting for what will most likely be the last time we are all together.

We loved our stay! We hosted a few friends from out of town for their first trip to wine country, and couldn't have been more pleased with the residence. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, and were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. The beds were comfortable, and we had a great time enjoying coffee outside on the patio. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved this house. Not far from Sonoma restaurants and grocery stores, but still felt out in the country. We loved the pool and hot tub. Lots of space to spread out, too. Will definitely be back!

This home is wonderful with lots of bedrooms and privacy. Located on a large lot with a wonderful backyard for relaxing. The pool was refreshing and neighborhood is quite. Would highly recommend.

We had a really nice stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a short trip. The location was great — close to local attractions and easy to get around. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, and check-in/check-out were hassle-free. We really enjoyed the pool and the property. Would recommend staying here if you are in the Sonoma area.

A magical place in Sonoma!

Stephen’s home lovely and when you walk through the Steven’s home door, it’s easy to feel right at home. We had our whole family with us, all 10 of us. And we enjoyed sitting on the front porch, soaking in the hot tub, swimming in the pool, and swinging from the chairs in the trees. Well, not every part of this house is newly renovated. It is comfortable and stocked with everything you might need. Stephen is a great host and communicated several times through our stay. Though we live in North Carolina I hope we get to come back to this beautiful part of the world soon.

The property was as described and perfect for our group. Location was good too, really convenient with a car. I will say, if you actually have 12 people (max for this property) you’ll need to bring towels. No pool towels are provided, and only 10 bath towels.

Enjoyable getaway in Sonoma

This property is cozy and plenty of space, bedding and seating for 12 (we had 9 there). Kitchen had all the necessary amenities to cook meals in-house. Close driving proximity to activities in the area. Highly recommend olive oil tour/tasting, winery tours/tasting and Sonoma State Historic Park.

Wonderful!

This secluded family estate worked perfectly for our stay. Our party of 6 was very comfortable. We enjoyed quiet relaxing by the pool and the hot tub. Add in the convenient location and I would highly recommend this property!

The property is gorgeous and well maintained. It was the perfect spot for celebrating a 60th birthday with friends and some family members! We loved the outdoor patio and the beautiful landscaping. We also made some wonderful meals in the well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful setting, cozy and spacious

We had a wonderful time swimming, sitting outside, chatting and cooking for a crowd. The property is lovely both indoors and out. It feels like a well-loved family home. It was a fun and relaxing visit. The property has beautiful landscaping and there were a ton of different birds frequenting the yard: quail, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and hawks. Stephen was very helpful with check in and any questions that came up. We only stayed a couple of days and I wished we could stay longer. I'll definitely keep it in mind for future events.

This was the perfect location to get to and from wineries. The pool was a great addition. We were worried about there only being 2 bathrooms but it wasn't an issue at all. Highly recommend this house!

Thoroughly enjoyable family retreat

We have a large family that does a retreat each year in Northern California. For 2024, we selected Santa Cruz and booked. Unfortunately, that reservation was cancelled in March due to the owner needing to sell (for unforeseen reasons). We scrambled to find a replacement and luckily stumbled upon Secluded Arts and Crafts Style Family Estate in Sonoma. The reservation process was quick and easy and Steve (owner) was accommodating in allowing a third dog and provided a very clear rental contract and access instructions/house rules. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and fully enjoyed the house! Several high points - Area is very quiet (we were as well) and private. Downtown Sonoma is very close for those that wanted to venture in. The house isn't new, but it appears to have been very well maintained over the years. We had no issues with power, water, plumbing, furniture, etc. We had no need to contact Steve during our stay. House has many areas (inside and out) that are pleasant for gathering/relaxing/reading, etc. Parking is plentiful and easy (we had a max of six cars during our stay). Kitchen is well stocked and big enough to allow for several cooks to work simultaneously. While we generally try to go different places each year, several family members have already expressed a desire to return. The Harvey Clan NOTE - We had 12 adults in the house for most nights. There are five bedrooms and the loft above the dining room, so we had no issues '

Lovely Stay

We had such a nice time at the house for our friend reunion. The pool and hot tub were so nice, the living room was gorgeous, and beds were comfortable. Nice distance from wineries. Thank you for a great stay.
