Thank you so much for your kind review. We do ask our prospective guests to read fully about our property prior to booking -- including amenities, along with our rental agreement. This way, you would have known that we are unable offer laundry facilities due to our permit restrictions. We are happy that you were able to use the alternative recommendations we suggested for laundry service. And yes, because we are a downtown property, we do have neighbors boarding our sides and back. They are all very friendly and sometimes park their vehicles where you can see them. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Kelsey, thank you for your feedback and comments. On the date you checked-in where you found Dave at the house, you had arrived well before the check-in time listed on our house instructions (3PM), which is why you found Dave getting the house ready for you. Most of our guests appreciate meeting us in person, especially when we are going out of our way to relay important information about your stay. (BTW, Sonoma is a very safe spot, and we have never had one incident involving strangers lurking near the house.) Our house instructions also mention that, if you find anything uncomfortable to please let us know right away -- we would have been happy to address your discomfort with the beds you reported. If you had read the house instructions, we did ask not only that you reach out to us, but that you kindly not attempt to move our furniture, including the bedding. Our house cleaner had found the house in more disarray than the "normal" guest, and notated several towels and hand towels that were stained and ruined, even though we provide make up remover pads and black wash towels. Most of our guests find the church bells charming -- we are in a downtown location near a historical church, and have little control with the timing of the bells ringing.

Thank you Angie, you were great guests. As I explained, our washer and dryer are in a non-permitted area of the house and unfortunately are not accessible to guests. We hope the laundry service that we recommended worked for you. It is conveniently located just a few blocks from the house and they do a wonderful wash and dry service for a very reasonable fee. We hope that worked out for you.
