"We stayed a long weekend at Mandalay Beach House. The location was excellent, it truly sits on the sand of the beach. There was plenty of room for our large party to stay and enjoy ourselves.The house itself is a bit older, but it is clean and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "Booked this listing, all seemed well. No contact from the property owner, but assumed they’d reach out as we got closer to the trip. The day of check-in, I still had not heard from the owner. I called the number on the VRBO listing and it was clearly a burner phone. Had no way of accessing the property with lack of response. Had to scramble and find new accommodations last minute. I’ve never had such a horrible experience."

"Olivia is the most gracious host. After my husband and I's wedding venue was affected by the Palisades fire, we had four months to make a new plan to marry. Olivia let us host a small ceremony in her beautiful front yard, and it was absolutely perfect. The space is as pictured, with welcome drinks and a brilliant view of the ocean. The condo was plenty big for our group of 3 adults and 4 kids and it is located right next to the only playground in the complex which was perfect for our kids.
