I was very impressed with reception area, nice clean. Then I got to elevator it was disgusting, smelled, carpet was very dirty,. Rm was good, clean

We always stay here when we are in the area. Good breakfast, quiet and friendly staff. Always clean.

The positives: staff was very kind and as helpful as their resources would allow. Booked a room to sleep 5 and usually that means there’s a couch or a cot or something but it only had 2 queens. (Cot was advertised). When we asked for a cot they didn’t have one available and therefore one kid had to sleep on the floor which of course, is as clean as you’d think a hotel floor is. Pool looks decent online but the water was so murky you could barely see the bottom. Just super old and outdated for the price. But again, front desk staff was very nice.

Our remote would only turn on and off, wouldn't change channels. Light in bathroom over sink just flashed.

Ding dong ditch

I booked the room for 5 people and was told there was a pullout couch but there wasn’t l. Good thing the 5th person didn’t come. There was a kids baseball tourney and we were put next to all the kids and they were running up and down the halls knocking on doors and then running away. Asked to be moved but they were booked solid. Staff was very very nice. Hotel was very dark and dingy and looked old. Won’t stay there again.

Not Somersets finest anymore!

Well this is a nice shot of the pool but it was out of order! The Day manager said it maybe back up in to week. We got in late Friday evening and, picked up our room key. It was several hrs. before we came back to the room. When we got off the elevator the hallway was dark, bulbs Burt out. Once we made it into our room and turned on the lights, I noticed the chair in the corner was shredded. It appeared as though cats used it for a toy. Then I noticed a plug with multiple appliance hooked up to it. It just got better, black mold in the corners of the tub. The Curton on the window looked as if someone peed on it.

Check in was fine. The hotel is dirty. We found two insects in our room, one dead in the windowsill area and one alive on the side of my bed. The carpets were stained badly. Breakfast was almost nonexistent at 8:55 am (supposed to be open until 9:30 am). It appears there is very little help or not enough staff so I don't think it is their fault. I stayed here because I thought it would be clean and a decent place to stay since I have stayed at Country Inn and Suites for at least 20 years. This was extremely subpar compared to other Country Inn and Suites that I have been to in the past!! It definitely was not worth $94 plus the taxes. I could have spent $66 for a better room in the town of Somerset. It was just dirty. The staff were the only decent part of the stay.

Tranquil and nice!

Wonderful and clean. Decent breakfast. Fantastic WiFi. Tucked away from traffic and very quiet!!! Nice amenities.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the continental breakfast was nice. The hotel could definitely use some updating. The carpet in our room was stained and so was the couch. It was in a convenient location close to the wedding venue we went to and close to shopping and restaurants.

The staff were very nice and everything was clean. The breakfast was very good. However, when I made my reservations I chose what was called a 'canal view' online and paid extra for it. When we got to our rooms, we were given the 'city view' rooms which was actually a bad view of the roof and parking lot, yet our rates weren't adjusted to the lower price for this view. I also chose this hotel so my daughter and I could swim in the indoor pool. When I arrived and asked the front desk clerk about it she laughed and said the water was cold and the heater wouldn't be in until some time later. So the main reason I chose this hotel out of all the others available turned out to be false advertisement. Yes, you had a pool but if it's too cold for human use that should be known prior to someone paying for a reservation so they can decide to take their child elsewhere to be able to have fun swimming together as planned.

Clean comfortable and convenient

Nice Hotel starting to show some minor age. The television only had 4 channels all for home shopping.
