Size is outstanding, overall it's really good to be honest. You 100%need a car. Aircon in every room although it can be real expensive to use as you pay seperate.Pool is wonderful, gets really deep quick so watch the kids.There was alot of loud music from neighbors late at night which was annoying but not exactly the hosts fault.Beds aren't the comfiest but never are on holiday.Overall a lovely place, just be prepared to travel in a car for anything.

Beautiful place to stay to escape the rush of everyday life

We wanted somewhere to stay that felt like Italy . The property was just that , the pictures don’t do the property justice has a very authentic Italian feel to it , and the gist was more than accommodating on so many things . This house is really worth a visit .

Great villa

We had a great stay at this villa, it was a good location for the various places we wanted to go and visit and it had everything we needed. I thought the garden & outside area were particularly lovely. The hosts were very nice and were very good when we managed to accidentally lock ourselves out (totally our fault) on the first night!

Amazing property!

Just back from this absolutely beautiful place where you hear only the roosters singing, cicadas and church bells with a very calming music Dario our property manager has been impeccable in his service. We met Roberto the owner when we arrived, who lives next door. There to assist always but at all other times he kept his distance to allow us to have a relaxing holiday. The villa is big and spacious. We found it an impressive and a private space, just loved it! This is a typical Sicilian countryside house in keeping with its character. It’s a holiday property so wear and tear is expected. Some rooms have mosquitoes nets but some others didn’t which is a shame so maybe this is something that could be improved. There are flies in Sicily just like in most hot countries. It might be an idea to take a fly swat with you 😃 or buy one when there. WiFi was good although we struggled using it in the annexe, maybe a WiFi extender might be enough. Pool was amazing, perfect for our 2 teenagers too. Thank you very much for a great week! I wish we didn’t have to come back

Great stay!

Dario the contact person and Roberto the owner are very friendly! Dario is also very helpful! It is a typical Sicilian house. We loved it! The garden and swimming pool are also fantastic! Which our dog loved too! A beautiful place to relax! Lots of beautiful places to visit!

Wir können das Haus sehr weiterempfehlen. Wir wurde sehr freundlich empfangen, Übergabe ging absolut reibungslos und wir hatte schöne 14 Tage mit viel Platz. Das Haus ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Umland

A very lovely countryside home

This property is exactly as listed. It was beautiful with a nice big pool, lots of space and the host was very communicative. The only issues we had to do with the property were a lack of normal European sockets and deck chairs were very weak or ripped. It was frustrating not being able to plug anything in inside our room. Overall I would recommend this place!

wonderful stay - great experience

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem wunderbaren Haus mit vollständiger Privatsphäre und einen sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Besitzer der 24h zur Verfügung steht (wohnt ein Haus weiter). Die Übergabe und check-out war sehr flexibel, einfach und nett. Die kids hatten einen riesen Spaß in dem hervorragendem Pool und bekamen sogar Eis vom Vermieter. Das Haus eignet sich hervorragend für Ausflüge, da nicht weit von der AB entfernt. Alles hat funktioniert. Danke vielmals.

Belle maison mais attention !!!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, belle piscine et endroit assez calme. Par contre, quelques petits problèmes à savoir : Les 2 réfrigérateurs (celui de la maison et celui du porche) ne fonctionnent pas correctement, température à revoir !!. La vaisselle est à revoir, manque des petites cuillères et ustensiles pour le barbecue. De plus, pas de produit pour la vaisselle, une seule éponge déjà utilisée, pas de torchon, pas de lessive. Nous avons dû relaver toute la vaisselle car non propre et les poêles grasses. Gros problème d'eau soit nous avions de l'eau bouillante ou froide, très compliqué pour les enfants. Comme convenu, nous avons payé l'électricité pour la climatisation et autres, comme l'éclairage de l'allée et d'autres endroits qui restent allumés toute les nuits. En fin de séjour, Dario nous à facturé plus cher le prix du Kw/h (0,45 au lieu de 0,35) et un forfait gaz alors que le gaz était compris dans le loyer (cela nous l'avons vu qu'après avoir relu les conditions). En dehors de tout ceci, nous avons apprécié notre séjour, la piscine, le restaurant "Villa Del Casale" situé à environ 200 mètres et la gentillesse du propriétaire qui demeure juste à côté.

Spacious villa

The villa is spacious with good outdoor facilities including an outdoor kitchen/BBQ area. The pool is large but gets deep quite quickly without warning, so children need to take care as there is nothing to prevent them accessing the pool. All rooms have air conditioning which is great as it gets very hot, but electricity is extra and so needs budgeting for. The annexe was nice for grandma to retreat too after a busy day with the children! The laundry and toilet block near the pool was very useful with young children. The kitchen is a little dated but everything worked okay. The garden is a nice space but be prepared for mosquitoes! The nearby beaches are lovely. The local towns have supermarkets and restaurants, bars etc but are not very picturesque. Ortigia is well worth a visit. Overall good value and we enjoyed our multi generational stay.

First post covid trip. Spring Holiday

The space in this property is huge, large garden, huge parking area, swimming pool, adjacent orchard. and plenty of opportunities to sit outside. Check was easy, you meet the agent at the next village and they take you to the property. that is actually sensible as it would be hard to find without someone to show you. The agent was helpful in arranging a very early departure for us. The swimming pool was not open but it was cold so that was fine and we were offered a reasonable discount for this. It was spring so it was still suprisingly cold on some nights, a bit more bedding would be welcome. The third bedroom is in a separate building next to the pool, this would be great for someone who wanted a bit of privacy but it would be too far away to put children from the main building. The neighbor gave us lemons and oranges from the orchard next door. We had a great time.

Wundervolles Anwesen

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager und 1 Kind) verbrachten zehn wunderbare Tage in diesem außergewöhnlich schönen Anwesen. Der Pool war perfekt für eine Abkühlung nach schönen Ausflügen. Die gesamte Anlage (Haus, Pool) war sehr gepflegt. Die Einrichtung war traditionell. Vermieter und Verwalter des Anwesens waren sehr herzlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Unser Verwalter versorgte uns mit wunderbaren Köstlichkeiten der Region und tollen Tipps für Ausflüge. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Wonderful holiday

Wonderful property. Fantastic pool, indoor and outdoor kitchen for cooking. Dario was great, gave us everything we needed. Villa was well located. Just 20 mins from syracusa. Beautiful gorges nearby for swimming and hiking. Car is essential. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic holiday

The villa was full of charming Sicilian features, huge swimming pool, beautiful lawn and garden, swings for the kids and loads of sunbeds and seating area out by the pool. The bbq area outside was really well equipped and even featured a handy sink, pizza oven and cooker as well as a wood burning BBQ. 3 comfortable bedrooms, 3 showers inside and 1 outside by the pool. Perfect home for families, I would totally go back in a heart beat.

Definitely recommended and we would return!

The villa is comfortable, spacious and clean. The outside space is truly impressive, with a big pool that is well-maintained by the villa’s friendly owner. There are plenty of loungers/seating and space, and a great barbecue. The location is rural, yet there is a popular and welcoming restaurant/pizzeria just a short walk away. The villa is a short drive from the towns of Solarino and Floridia, and well situated for exploring Syracuse/Ortigia. It is within a 20-min drive of sandy beaches, and not too far away from places of interest such as Mount Etna, Noto and Taormina. Definitely recommended.
