"We are a US family and visited Hotel GS in July, to break up our stay in Copenhagen. We were unfamiliar with the area and tried to ensure that we were staying in a walkable area, near the beach and with good amenities. We were not disappointed ... The hotel excelled on all counts. It is located on the north coast, near other lovely towns. Just a lovely area, we enjoyed the sunset balcony and the hotel restaurant is really excellent. Staff was very friendly and accommodating too. "
"Staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in very late and they made arrangements for us to get our room key quickly and without complications. The hotel is historic so it is not new but is well kept. The beach walk/ trail is fantastic with incredible views. Would recommend and would return. "

"This hotel puts itself on airs and we actually don't see any reason they should.
Common areas are over decorated, full of furniture pretending to be fancy and antique, but are just old and tacky. But anyway this could depend on one's personal taste.
Then the room. Small, very small, hot as you cannot imagine (almost impossible to sleep, and outside temperature was only 20°) and the bed and pillows uncomfortable as I never found before.
The breakfast. Poor and absolutely overpriced. It...
"An highly situated stay, especially if arriving or departing on the ferry to/from Sweden. Comfy chalet of good size and an excellent breakfast. We were travelling with our dogs and our chalet was in a special section with good walks around. A short drive also took us to a restaurant for dinner. Our visit was for one night and was extremely convenient."

"Fantastisk vistelse !! Mycket bra kommunikation med Joakim och Lynn. Välstädat och mycket sköna sängar. Fint badrum som gick bra att dela med övriga gäster. Vi fick låna en bra mycket grill. "The beach with the tables and benches to enjoy a picknick close to the beach was unique. Washing machine with an additional fee is very useful. I liked the information about the city and the region close to the reception. Very child-friendly and car park directly in front of the houses!
