The hosts were very helpful and very easy to deal with during our stay. The condo was nice and cozy. Unbelievable view from balcony. Wildlife that comes right up to building. Skiing was good. Season had just started, but we got lucky with a storm that rolled in the night we got there. So had 5 good days on the mountain.

The location was convenient, and he views were beautiful, and the property was in good condition. Very comfortable. Don’t expect fast internet (but you never should on the Mountain). Owner was extremely cordial and responsive. Quickly helped resolve one minor issue we had with a piece of equipment during our stay. Will definitely stay with this property owner again!

Family vacay at the Summit

I would like to thank Mr. Richards for letting my family and I stay at their condo in Snowshoe for our family vacay, it had amazing views out the back deck and dining room window and also of the deer that came around daily for food(they were beautifu) The only problem we had was we had to leave a little bit early because of an ice storm that came in 2 days before we were scheduled to leave and our 4 wheel drive had quit working, other than that we had a had a wonderful time and The Summit was so centrally located to everything. Oh yes, I do want to give a shameless plug to The Fox Fire Grill Restaurant in the Village they are owned by a very wonderful couple the food is really great there.Oh yes, I do want to give aGrill

We had a great time in Snowshoe. Good location, beautiful view. Needs some updates in the condo but it was functional for our trip and overall enjoyed our time.

Beautiful location close to the village

Great condo with a beautiful view. The check-in process was seamless with excellent communications from the host. The condo is walkable to the village although via a tall staircase which is a little intimidating with skis but shuttle was a frequent and great alternative. Sauna in condo was a nice treat and saw deer every day.Cons: condo was a little dated on the inside but comfortable. Wifi and internet signals were very weak which didn't go well with almost non-existent cell service. Only relevant if needing to work or stream videos.

Stay was great, except wifi was not really usable

My family had a great time and enjoyed the property, view, amenities. The property manager was very helpful and responded quickly to our inquiries (really great guy)! My only qualm is that the wifi, while technically present is almost unusable. If you need to send anything more than a single email it will not work for you (no matter the time of day/night). Even trying to lookup local directions on google maps was pretty harrowing, and forget about working remotely if you were thinking about trying it here. Phone calls (over wifi) had mixed results. This was made all the more difficult by the fact that cell reception is terrible (at least for our carrier), at the rental, while it was fine a hundred yards up the mountain in the village. Everything else was GREAT!!! I just think the listing should be more clear about the internet speed/reliability on site.

Snowshoe Summit Stay

Condo was dated but cozy and mostly clean. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were not washed properly. Same with the pans. The tile floors in the kitchen need some TLC cleaning around the edges and in the area where the trash is stored. The Wi-Fi was terrible so if you have any plans to try to do a working vacation, you will not have reliable internet access. The views out the back were breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the deer every day down below. The hike up the steps to the village are long and steep. Highly recommend if you’re a skier to carry your ski boots and walk in regular boots. Then rent a locker for the day at Expedition Station or Silver Creek.

Excellent stay!

We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many VRBO rentals. We consider ourselves pretty picky. Jim, the owner, went above and beyond! His communication was great and the condo was very clean, well stocked, and a good location. Jim was very accommodating as we had a special event to attend at the beginning of our visit and a medical emergency at the end. Truly a great guy and lovely place. I do highly recommend using the shuttle to get up to the village because the steep steps are brutal!

Easy affordable stay

This is a great, no frills location, close to the slopes. There was soap, a roll of papertowel, plenty of trashbags and toilet paper provided. The place is a little dated but it was clean and we were just there in the late afternoons/evenings to relax and sleep after a day of skiing. The sauna was a fun treat after our kids went to bed but the instructions are not intuitive and it might be helpful to have them posted somewhere. Ceiling fans might be a welcome addition to upgrade this place. The evenings were warm even with the heat turned down in the winter. All-in-all not a bad place to be on Snowshoe for our family of six.

We had a great weekend staying in summit No discrepancies at all ! Beautiful views of the valley and the sunset. Weather cooperated for at least one sunset . Shuttle was super convenient . Would recommend

Great Condo!

Plenty of space for family with two grown teenage boys. Condo had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and a few dinners. Parking was easy, and it’s a few minutes walk up stairs to the village and slopes. Quick and friendly responses from the owner - thank you! We are adding to our list of Snowshoe lodgings.

Great property and fantastic location!

This is such a fantastic location with access to everything you'd want to do at Snowshoe. The property was clean and comfortable and the full kitchen and two bathrooms were great for a group. And if you're getting chilly, the sauna will heat you up when you need it. We will be booking again next year and for a longer stay!

Great stay

The condo is in a great location. The premises were very clean. Views are second to none. The property manager, Jay and his wife were great people. Over the course of our stay, we spent several hours with them. Our group looks forward to returning next year.

Beautiful sunsets and… a sauna!

We had a wonderful time skiing at snowshoe and staying at the Summit. Plenty of room for a family of five. We got our exercise walking up the stairs to the ski resort! We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets!

Great stay!

Owner was kind enough to help us check in late and helped get us settled. We loved the sauna and made use of it since the weather was bitter and we didn’t want to go out. Everything just like it stated and very homey.
