Good location, not very clean or well stocked, building is a little scary looking

Parking - on the day we went it was difficult to find any. The following day it was not too bad to move the truck to a better location but parking is tight.Check in - very easy, nice front desk worker. The outside of the building looks nice but the inside is what I would expect from a trucker motel that rents rooms by the hour. In need of serious redo. Did not give an impression of a safe, clean, or “nice” place to stay at all.Room - not in great shape, lots and of rusted hinges, old worn out cabinets, linens were terribly thin, pillows terrible (bring your own), some linens had others hair imbedded into it. Not much care for the tenent. Had soap but no shampoo or conditioner - bring your own had coffee maker but no coffee - bring your own. View is nice. It was a little loud here and there - very thin walls.Location - great! Short walk to the village. About as close as you can be to the Ballhooter ski lift.The room is on the first floor and is 3 feet away from the arcade game area which is just unsightly, loud, and weird.Overall recommend staying here if you are looking for a cheaper place to stay and won’t be in the room other than sleeping. But bring your own toiletries, pillows, and coffee. Maybe some linens too.

Convenient Location

The location is ideal. We easily walked to the slopes and to dinner. The view is beautiful! The unit was very clean. There has been a lot of wear and tear to the property since the photos were made.

Early ski season stay

Wonderful condo at Snowshoe. Clean, very comfortable and next to slopes. Condo has everything you need for a great stay. I had a great night's sleep on the bed and fell asleep on the couch watching TV. Beautiful mountain view.

Great place

Great place and very kid friendly. We had to leave early due to a family emergency but the time there was great. The only gripe is the internet is very slow. Very difficult to work remotely. This isn’t anything the owner can control or upgrade. The building needs new wiring to support better technology than DSL running over old phone line.

Just what we needed

A perfect spot in the village for a week of skiing. The condo is a perfect size for 2-3 people. Everything is a short walk. There's a lot of noise from the hallway so bring earplugs.

Perfect location and great communication

This property was the perfect location for experiencing the village and the 4848 music festival. Convenient parking and easily walkable to all the major Snowshoe amenities. The property was clean, if not a little dated (the whole building is a bit dated, so no surprise there. Being familiar with Snowshoe, I expected this). We had a minor maintenance issue and the owner responded nearly immediately, which is appreciated! On site maintenance had it fixed within minutes. Having the portable A/C was a lifesaver. The balcony was still out of service, but it looked like they were about finished with the refurbishment, so hopefully that won’t be an issue with your stay. This was the only bad thing for me, but it couldn’t be helped. It’s going to be awesome when it’s finished! Beautiful views, convenient location, great owner. I’ll be back if I need to stay at Snowshoe again!

Playing Hooky

Loved the accomodations! My buddy and I came up for a quick trip and get on the slopes on a Monday away from work. The room was just as listed online and a convenient walk over to the village for dinner/drinks in the evening. Then just steps to the slopes in the morning. Our host was very responsive to questions and I would definitely rent this place again :)

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The code for the door didn't work as intended but Mountain Lodge employees were there immediately to help us get into the condo. The view from this condo is amazing! It's definitely a condo we will stay in again if ours is rented!

Fantastic Place to Stay with an Incredible View

We stayed at the property over the July 4th weekend. The unit was clean, well stocked, and offered an incredible view of Snowshoe and the surrounding mountains. For it being off season and warm, a portable AC unit was used to keep the unit cool. The bathroom had plenty of towels and wash cloths. The kitchen had plenty of silverware, cups, plates, and cooking supplies. The bed was comfy as well as the couch in the living room. The unit was a very short walk (less than 5 min) from the village and activities. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anybody! Be was also great with communication and even offered us suggestions on activities to do in the area.
