I immensely appreciated how quickly the host replied to my questions and concerns. The property was great, updated in such an efficient way, with space saving in mind. Everything was very clean. Best experience I’ve had renting at Silver Creek in a long time.

Okay Place to Stay

We stayed over the past weekend. Room was ready early which was nice. The door is extremely difficult to close I had to slam each time to ensure the door was latched, i felt bad for the neighbors each time we left the property. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations from the unit next to the bedroom. We used the pool but there were no passes but thankfully the pool attendant didn’t give us too much trouble. The unit was clean. I accidentally forgot to run the dishwasher and didn’t see the checkout instructions until we were down the mountain. We have an electric car so it was nice to be able to charge just make sure to bring an adapter If you have a Tesla. Overall an okay place to stay.

It was ok, just be prepared to clean up after yourself

I'll be honest, it was not a bad place to stay. Yes the hotel was a little utilitarian, especially the hallways, the room was decent for early 2000s decorations. When air conditioning was listed as an amenity I didn't think that meant a portacool unit that I had to pull out of a closet and set up. I've been in hotels from Hawaii, to Canada, America, and Europe. I've never once been threatened with a fine if I didn't take out my own trash and put everything back to the way it was before I left, here I was. Not having to clean up after myself is one of the things I like about staying in a hotel, any other hotel up to this point. If you do stay here, just be prepared to put everything back to the way it was or there will be a fine for any broken rules. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I think I would just pick another place that didn't require me to clean up after myself while on vacation.

Great place for family weekend

We enjoyed the property and the access to the pool since we stayed in the summer. Very close to Snowshoe village and Cass where we met family.

Love the area

This place was mostly clean but smelly. The sheets were stained with black spots but I could tell they were washed. We noticed it was pretty run down like the door barely shut from damage or warping, the carpet was torn, baseboard was missing, and everything was old and worn. Unfortunately they had issues with hot water, the host was responsive and offered to send maintenance but it was late and we were tired so we declined. The whole building seemed to be in the same condition so this may be typical for the older buildings in the area. We enjoyed the trails for hiking and liked being able to walk to them.

Five Stars!!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Silver Creek and are already planning to come back next year! Mari and Tim are fantastic hosts and I was blown away by their exceptional communication. We had a very minor issue upon arrival and again right before we left, but they sent maintenance within 30 minutes to take care of it! My young kids loved the pool, outdoor hot tub, the Bear’s Den, and being near the tubing park. FYI- there is a picture on the listing that shows a pool with a slide that we thought was at Silver Creek but it’s actually in the Snowshoe village area. The kitchen is very small with a mini fridge/freezer so we only ate breakfast and maybe 2 other meals in the condo. We were thankful to have a washer and dryer in the unit to do our laundry before we left. Overall we had a 5 star experience and it met all of our needs for a short 3 night stay!

Great place

Location, price, easy check in, communication with owners were all more than I expected not to mention the amazing views. We took our motorcycles so we could tour the nationally recognized scenic highways and we were not disappointed. We will be back!!😁

Exactly like the pictures. Very clean and classy and a great peaceful getaway in summer. Locker Room sports bar just downstairs with great food and service. Would love to go back!!

Cozy and Convenient

Cozy condo had everything we needed to have a great time. Maiden voyage on the new washer and dryer was epic! Perfect location for staying with young kids. Silver Creek slopes were less crowded in the best way.

Great place to stay for Silver Creek / Snowshoe ski resort

Stayed 3 nights. It was a great place to stay for our ski trip. Parking was in front of the building and convenient. Shuttle between Silver Creek and Snowshoe was convenient. Night skiing was unique to Silver Creek. Would stay again.

Weekend getaway

It would be a great place for skiers since you can basically ski in and out of the condo. It was a lot of walking and driving up and down the mountain to do anything but having the Locker Room bar and restaurant was awesome. The ski village was close and nice to be able to look around as most places were closed till the snow season .
