Updated clean unit in Mountain Lodge

Clean, updated, pics were accurate. Kitchen had plenty of useful items. I just crashed between runs on the mountain so my stay was short and powdery sweet. :) Location is great. Easy to get to unit as it's on the 1st floor near the front desk. Still had a nice view of the adjacent mountains from the LR. Bed was comfy. Lots of hooks and ski/board holders for ski gear. Overall, a very nice unit. I'd stay again no question. Only issue I had was I arrived early so I couldn't check in right away. Had to change in the car to hit the slopes. Also, check-out is at 11am. If you're staying to ski on check-out day you must move your car to the public lot by Soaring Eagle Lodge. The parking pass expires at 11am on check out day.

Perfect location

Perfect location for my families short ski trip. Right out the door and around the corner to the mountain. Place was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Great view! Cute and modern decor. 1st floor. Has everything you need. Bed was comfortable but a little firm. There were extra blankets. The bedroom lamps have charge plugs. Nice touch. And there is a snowboard holder by the door. The lobby area is nice and big for hanging out with a fireplace. There is a kids play room. Would stay again.

Great mountain lodge location

We enjoyed the unit with a view facing the mountains. We were a short walk from the lobby, Al Dente restaurant downstairs and kids’ play area. We were beside the arcade and liked the location. Thankfully no issues with sound from the hallways or above us like some posts I read about Snowshoe rental properties.We would stay here again.

Accommodating condo

Owners were very responsive and helpful with preparing for arrival, questions during our stay and departure. The location in the village is a bonus. The condo itself was exactly as listed, small, but accommodating, clean, and well stocked. Good view.

ML164

ML164 was fantastic, the room was clean and as advertised. Mountain Lodge is not the best location at Snowshoe; however, the room more than made up for it. Would highly recommend.

Cozy and Convenient

Easy check in and very nice staff! Beautiful view! While it isn’t the most updated condo we’ve stayed in at Mountain Lodge, everything worked great for us! Love that it had a washer and dryer in the condo. The coffee maker was broken, but the staff got us another one to use - thank goodness! Reason for 4 stars: Parking is convenient; however, it would’ve been helpful to have parking attendants in the lot to properly park all of the vehicles and trailers. Too much space between vehicles caused a lack of space for everyone, and the info provided at the gate was inaccurate. Mattress in the bedroom was too firm and the sheets were scratchy. More towels and washcloths would have been helpful to have on hand as well.

ML164 condo is cozy & comfortable!!

ML164 condo is a cozy place to recharge for the next ski day. It hosts comfortable couch, bed, full kitchen & even a stacked washer & dryer for dry clothes the next day. The owner Tim goes above & beyond with tips to help you navigate your long weekend or week long ski week. The ML staff is dedicated to stellar customer service with parking, housekeeping and guidance despite being short staffed during these covid times.We'll be back soon!

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at The Mountain Lodge. I was a little disappointed as the condo and facility were outdated. The price reflects this and it was my fault not to look into it farther. The bed was too firm for my liking but it did the job. We also had an issue with the faucet in the bathroom. It was fixed promptly. Just an FYI, turn on at base and not by the handle. The location was amazing we walked to the pool multiple times and to eat and shop in the village. The lift was right outside the lodge. I do recommend this spot because we had a great time but I will pay a little more in the future for a more up to date rental. A lot of the other guest I spoke with were also surprised the lodge was so outdated. Thank you Tim for your hospitality!

Great stay at Mountain Lodge

This is a very well maintained condo at Mountain Lodge. We have stayed at Mountain Lodge in the past, but this condo was the best. What we enjoy about the Mountain Lodge area and the convenience of the parking, the friendly/helpful staff and Ballhooter lift is right out the door. The condo was clean, Wi-Fi was stable and password protected and the kitchen was fully stocked. I had a couple of questions for Tim, the owner, and he responded quickly. Bruce and Jennifer

Mountain Lodge at Snowshoe

The property was clean and all accessories were provided (linens, kitchen equipment, etc.). The balcony has been removed, but we were made aware of that beforehand. The view was beautiful. We were there mid-week and many of the restaurants in the Village were closed. We did not bring groceries with us, but since our stay was short, it was not a problem. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend time in the mountains of West Virginia.

Excellent stay for an excellent price.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We loved the location with a view of the mountain. The price point was perfect for us and we were so glad to have found this place and will definitely keep this listing in mind in the future.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This property was exactly what my son and I were looking for in a weekend snowboarding escape to Snowshoe. Tim was great to communicate with on our questions. Responses were always quick. Check-in process was a breeze. Staff at Snowshoe were friendly and helpful. Were able to pull up to the front door to unload, and there were plenty of luggage carts to use. We had easy access to the slopes, plus a short walk to the bus stop to catch the shuttle to Silver Creek for a night session. The Village was an easy walk across the Mountain Lodge parking lot to grab some dinner. This was a great place to stay.

Short ski trip made convenient!

Great ski in/ski out location by the Ballhooter lift. Older, but clean and everything in working condition. Tim responded quickly with a few missing items.

Room with a Great View

The check-in process was very easy and the front desk people were so friendly! The room was clean and neatly laid out, a condo! The price was right! The food court is quaint and the food prices were reasonable, good portions. The view from our balcony was spectacular! The only issue was there was only a room floor A/C unit with the discharge out the window. It cooled the room for the most part but was a bit warm. All in all I would still highly recommend this place for anyone! We will be back!
