Location !

A great location to this unit for all seasons activities at the resort. It couldn’t be quicker or easier to access the unit. Lunch at home or lunch in the village? Ski in - ski out? So many options from this unit. Owners/Managers very easy to deal with. The deposit was a little high but perhaps that was due to the international event being held during our stay. Cheers

The condo was in the perfect location to enjoy both the village and the mountain. He had plenty of room and everything was very clean. We enjoyed being able to get to use the hot tub after a long day on the slopes and the kitchen was very well appointed for a small family to use over the holiday weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Very easy access and accommodations. Just a heads up - it’s very easy to get everything from the parking garage, but it’s 20/day. Otherwise, you have to go find the luggage carts in the garage if you need them. Everything here was super nice and convenient.

Wonderful, all problems fixable

This was a great place for a ski trip. Location is just about perfect -- just a short walk to the top of the slopes and near amenities in the village. The lockers were very convenient. The place was small but completely adequate for a group of 2. The kitchen and dining table were very usable if you plan to do most of your cooking in the unit. The fireplace made it very cozy. The downstairs heated parking was such a luxury and completely worth the 20/day cost. I would definitely pick this unit again. We had only 2 challenges, both fixable -- 1) we arrived to find the place had not been cleaned, but the owner was able to contact the cleaners and get that addressed in a fairly timely manner. But, did make check in a bit stressful 2) there is a very bright street light right outside the bedroom window and the blinds did not block the light sufficiently. It was as bright as a sunny morning and it wrecked havoc with my sleep. Could be easily fixed with some blackout curtains, but I would recommend an eye mask to all sensitive sleepers otherwise.

Favorite Snowshoe Stay

We have stayed all over the mountain for the past 20 years, used to need a bigger place but now it’s just the 2 of us and this unit is my favorite because of location and we love the way it is decorated and set up. Plan to go back next year!

Similiar to other condos in the building and other nearby buildings the location is superb. Walkable to all restaraunts and the slopes. The optional heated garage beneath the building was superb for the overnight snow storm.

Weekend Getaway for the Win.

Great location & nice accommodations. This 1 bedroom condo is perfect for a weekend getaway or short stay. The pictures are a very accurate depiction of Rimfire. Easy access to slopes, the village, parking garage, and for the coffee enthusiasts Starbucks. Would stay again.

Village Central

We loved the location of this property, it’s easy to get to things in the village. Hot tubs were clean at Rimfire and we loved being close to things. However the unit itself is right on the main drag and very loud in the evenings when there were people out late making their way home from bars and restaurants. Two of the four nights there was a snow plow removing snow in the village from 4-5am. It was LOUD! The unit itself has great renovations and was clean. I will stay again in Rimfire but I would be hesitant to stay here without ear plugs.

Great Location, updated ammenities

Perfect Location to take advantage of the mountain top. First floor location makes shlepping gear much easier. This is one of the most updated units we've stayed in. Crisp and clean. As noted in previous reviews, the heating unit is very loud. When it turned on it woke everyone up throughout the night. Also, village noise was more noticeable in this unit...might not be a great place to stay if you have little ones trying to sleep. Thanks for hosting us, we had a blast and would stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Had a wonderful stay at Rimfire and had nothing but positive experience beginning with communication with the owners who promptly responded to all our questions, easy and quick check-in and check-out process (as opposed to less than positive prior experience at Mountain Lodge), and, of course, the condo itself - its location in the very center of the village turned out very convenient and central to all our activities. The condo itself looks newly renovated, spotless and homey and had everything we needed for our stay. We also preferred the layout of the condo to similar properties at Mountain Lodge where windows in bedrooms face the interior hallway and feel like there is no good airflow. The Rimfire unit has a real bedroom with a real window facing the beautiful village. The heated garage downstairs has paid parking but we had no problem finding free parking across the street. We also thought it's very reasonably priced for what you get relative to other places we stayed at in Snowshoe. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to others.
