Sound of Freedom, Sounds of Joy!
Our family had an amazing time on our Thanksgiving Family Vacation. We were so pleased with the house, simply beautiful, and the pictures DO NOT do it justice....everyone had plenty of space and the weather this year was perfect!
The downside was having to rent linens and having NO startups of some critical items....namely toilet tissue or hand soap. Had we known, we would have been prepared, especially since we traveled quite a distance to get there. A simple heads up from the rental company would have been nice.
We enjoyed reading the journal that others had left behind.... many folks remarking how thoughtful it was to have a bottle of wine and gift card upon their arrival to the house....sadly, we experienced nothing upon arrival except having to make a mad dash to the grocery store to get toilet tissue, soap,& paper towels. (We wonder if the owners were aware of this detail). One door of the refrigerator had broken shelves making it unusable, and the ice-maker would only make 1 very small batch of ice at a time....making it necessary to buy ice daily.
Gorgeous view, gorgeous house, amazing interior design.....too bad that the lack of attention to small details was so obvious.....there is only one chance to make a good 1st impression!
