Excellent location with unbelievably private beach

We absolutely love Allswell and return every year. There are so many things that make this the perfect place. The house is situated perfectly on the beach, right at the dunes, so the walkway off the deck to the sand is very short, and the views from the deck are not blocked by other houses. It's a one-level house (except if you choose to use the den or gameroom), which means minimal schlepping of luggage and groceries up and down stairs. It's up high enough that the dunes don't block your views when you're inside the house (which we have found to be a common problem with other one-level houses on the island). And it's situated in an area without public beach access or any multi-unit housing, so the beach the is always unbelievably private. We also can't say enough about the owner (Diana) and house manager (Betsy). Great communication, very prompt to reply about any questions, immediately available on-site if the need arises, and they go above-and-beyond to make sure your stay is excellent. The house is always clean and well-maintained, and Diana continues to invest in the property so we always love to see what update has been done each year when we arrive. :)

Blended Family Gathering

Our blended family of 11 stayed for a week from July to August. We were easily able to check in and parking was ample for 4 to 5 cars. We enjoyed use of the downstairs areas (a furnished garage and a sitting room) and the upstairs locations. Our favorite part was the beach view and access. Whenever we needed something, the property manager across the street was readily available to answer questions. We had space for family meals and plenty of seats inside and outside on the deck. The family throroughly enjoyed the opportunity to fellowship together.

It's a wonderful house and just right for our family. It's very clean and has a nicely equipped kitchen which is good for us as our son-in-law is a super chef and we usually eat in. The addition of a covered porch is much appreciated by this old lady who needs to stay out of the sun.

Just What We Needed

This has been our favorite house to stay in for many years. Excellent location, the view is indescribable!! The house is always up to date and clean. This was our first year going through Vrbo and the process was very user friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back!!

Amazing views

Nice private location that allows you to sit on the beach, wonder around, and not worry about any crowd. I felt completely comfortable allowing my younger kiddos run the beach as they couldn’t annoy anyone. House was very nice and the property manager was very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t of asked for a more peaceful vacation.

Fantastic House, Hidden Gem of a beach!

My family loved staying at Diana’s property! The house is spacious, has wonderful updates, and was very comfortable and homey. The air hockey table was a fun addition for kids and adults! The location of this property made for the most amazing beach - we had beach basically to ourselves! Diana was extremely responsive before and during our stay and very quickly resolved the one issue we had (oven was not working; oven was replaced during our stay). You definitely want to give this place a try!

Lovely single story

Great location and bedroom layout for our family. The two main bedrooms with connected baths were great for the couples and the bunk beds with singles were good with the jack and Jill bathroom. My mom loved the single floor and the great deck for watching the waves. Great owner too as she had a solution when the AC failed within hours of our notification. Very clean pleasant and welcoming place. We loved it. Felt like it would have been good for families with little ones as the deck was fully enclosed and the house was close to the water too. Quick to get Back to the house for lunch.

All's Well - Oceanfront Paradise

We, as a family, have stayed at this ocean-front house for 4+ years & just love it. Working with the owner has been fantastic & seamless as well as with the house management team. We love the spaciousness of the house, the location & the beach --- which appears to have less foot traffic. The house has plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms + a very roomy kitchen.

Great location

Nice and close to the beach and waves. Quiet. Plenty of room for nine of us. Windy in April but we had sun every day. Really liked that we could walk right off the deck and be n the. Beach. Nice host too. We would go again
