"My family and I stayed here and appreciated the great communication with the host. The house was super clean, and the size makes it very easy to keep track of your belongings. We could come and go to the beach easily without paying the price of a beachfront property, and of course an outdoor shower is always nice to have! We felt very welcomed and cared for."

"Absolutely loved staying at Sue’s. The location was perfect, along with the views. The interior was decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. "This was a lovely, quiet spot for a fall family vacation. Being right on the sound is actually quite nice. It’s great to sit on the deck and watch the birds in the marsh and see fish and shrimp jumping in the water. The provided kayaks, paddleboard, and life jackets enabled our whole family to go out and explore the sound together. It’s a very safe, low traffic, protected area of the sound. The ocean is close enough that we could easily walk down and back multiple times per day, going back...

"We had a long weekend with 6 college aged kids, and this was a perfect home with plenty of space for everyone. The hosts have SO many helpful amenities available, and it just felt like a cozy home away from home. They truly thought of everything you could need for a great get away. "

"This house is fantastic! It is impeccably clean and cool, beautiful views in all directions from windows and decks on both floors. The kitchen is fully equipped with every cooking device imaginable, and the patio bar has not one but three green eggs (S, M, & L) to grill and smoke with. The water access was ideal to launch our paddle boards and kayak, and the sun deck area wonderful. St. Clair is a excellent host and instructions were perfectly detailed. And we can't forget the Billiard and game...

"It was a great, last minute find for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. We loved the added touch of the hot tub and the neighborhood was quiet. There was a huge yard for the dogs to roam and for our 5yo to find sticks when we weren’t beaching it. The only downfall, for us, was the one bathroom. We have 3 pre-teen/teen girls, but they managed!! :) The owner was prompt when we had questions and was happy to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Will stay here again for sure (maybe not with all 3...

"We loved the layout—quite different from our area, but pretty normal, apparently, for the NC coast. When I booked, I thought there was only one bath, so was pleasantly surprised to find 2-1/2. The property is beautifully landscaped and worked very well for our purpose—just spending time relaxing with family for a couple of days. "
